ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ কোভিড কালে রক্তের আকাল দেখেছে সারা দেশ। বিশেষ করে সমস্যায় পড়তে হয়েছে থ্যালাসেমিয়া আক্রান্ত শিশুদের। বিগত কয়েকদিনে আবার বাড়তে শুরু করেছে কোভিডে আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা। এই পরিস্থিতিতে যাতে আর রক্তের আকাল না হয় তাই আজাদিকা অমৃত মহোৎসবে অভিনব কায়দায় রক্তদান সম্পর্কে মানুষকে সচেতন করতে এগিয়ে এলেন দিল্লির ন্যাশানাল স্কুল অফ ড্রামা। ১৪ জুন দিনটি সারা বিশ্ব জুড়ে বিশ্ব রক্তদাতা দিবস হিসাবে পালিত হয়।
আজাদী কা অমৃত মহোৎসব উপলক্ষে এই দিন ন্যাশানাল স্কুল অফ ড্রামার উদ্যোগে সারা দেশের ২২ টি রাজ্যের ২৫ টি নাট্যদল ভারত বর্ষের ৭৫ টি জায়গায় ‘রক্তদান মহৎ দান’ এই স্লোগানে মানুষকে সচেতন করতে পথ নাটকের আয়োজন করল। কলকাতার এস এস কে এম হাসপাতাল, হাওড়া স্টেশন ও বাগবাজারে গিরিশ মঞ্চের কাছে বীরভূম সংস্কৃতি বাহিনীর উদ্যোগে রক্তদান মহৎ দানের প্রচারে পথ নাটক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। বীরভূম সংস্কৃতি বাহিনীর নির্দেশক ডক্টর উজ্জ্বল মুখোপাধ্যায় বলেন মানুষের মধ্যে রক্তদান সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বাড়াতেই এই উদ্যোগ।

In the last few days, the number of Covid cases has started increasing again. In such a situation, so that there is no more shortage of blood, the National School of Drama of Delhi has come forward to make people aware about donating blood in a novel way at Azadika Amrit Mahotsav. June 14 is celebrated as World Blood Donor Day all over the world. On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, on this day, under the initiative of National School of Drama, 25 theatre groups from 22 states across the country organized street plays at 75 places across the country to make people aware of the slogan ‘Blood Donation Mahata Daan’. At SSKM Hospital, Howrah station and near Girish Mancha in Bagbazar in Kolkata, street plays were held at the initiative of Birbhum Sanskriti Force to promote the donation of blood donation. Dr Ujjwal Mukherjee, director of The Birbhum Cultural Force, said the initiative is aimed at raising awareness about blood donation among the people.
