গোপাল বিশ্বাস, নদীয়া-ঃ সোস্যাল মিডিয়ায় আপত্তির পোষ্ট করার অভিযোগে গতকাল সন্ধ্যায় বিজেপির নবদ্বীপ শহর উত্তর মন্ডলের সম্পাদক তন্ময় কুন্ডুকে গ্রেফতার করে নবদ্বীপ থানার পুলিশ। বিজেপির অভিযোগ এই খবর পেয়ে গতকালই তারা নবদ্বীপ থানায় গেলে নবদ্বীপ থানার পুলিশ তাদের সাথেও খারাপ ব্যবহার করে। এরই প্রতিবাদে আজ বেলা ১২ টায় নবদ্বীপ শহরের সরকার পাড়া মোড়ে নেতাজীর মূর্তির পাদদেশে বিক্ষোভ প্রদর্শন করে বিজেপি। এদিনের এই কর্মসূচীতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিজেপির নদীয়ায় জেলা উত্তরের সভাপতি অর্জুন বিশ্বাস, রাজ্য মহিলা নেতৃ অপর্না নন্দী, সহ জেলার একাধিক নেতৃত্ব ও নবদ্বীপ শহরের বিজেপি কর্মি ও নেতৃত্বরা। বক্তব্যে বক্তারা পুলিশের ভূমিকা নিয়ে ও তৃণমূল সরকারকে ঝাঁঝালো আক্রমণ করে, পাশাপাশি গ্রেফতার হওয়া বিজেপি কর্মিকে অবিলম্বে না ছাড়লে আগামী দিনে আরও বৃহত্তর আন্দোলনের পথে হাঁটবেন বলেও জানায়। সুত্র মারফত জানা যায় আজই গ্রেফতার হওয়া বিজেপি নেতাকে জামিন অযোগ্য ধারায় অভিযোগ দায়ের করে নবদ্বীপ থানার পুলিশ আদালতে পাঠিয়েছে।

In protest, the BJP staged a protest at the foot of Netaji’s statue at the Government Para roundabout in Nabadwip town at 12 noon today. Bjp’s Nadia district north president Arjun Biswas, state women’s leader Aparna Nandi, along with several leaders of the district and BJP workers and leaders of Nabadwip town were present at the event. In the speech, the speakers attacked the role of the police and the Trinamool government, as well as said that they would go for a bigger movement in the coming days if the arrested BJP worker is not released immediately. Sources said that the arrested BJP leader was sent to the court by the police of Nabadwip police station after lodging a complaint under non-bailable sections today.
