নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধিঃ অ্যাক্রোপলিস মল, ভারতের শীর্ষস্থানীয় প্রিমিয়াম মলের মধ্যে অন্যতম । আজ এই আম উৎসব তথা “ম্যাঙ্গো ম্যানিয়া” নামে একটি আম খাওয়ার প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন করেছে। ম্যাঙ্গো ম্যানিয়া- এই ভোজ আড্ডা সহযোগিতার দ্বারা আয়োজিত একটি আম উৎসব। এই উৎসবটি শুরু হয়েছিলো ২৯ জুন থেকে এবং চলবে আগামী ৩রা জুলাই পর্যন্ত প্রতিদিন দুপুর ১২টা থেকে রাত ৯টা পর্যন্ত। ফলের রাজা আমকে নিয়ে ঋতুর আনন্দ উদযাপন করতে উৎসবের আয়োজন করেছে অ্যাক্রোপলিস মল। উদ্দেশ্য হল, এই আমের স্বাদে পরিপূর্ণ সুস্বাদু উপাদেয় খাবারের সাথে অতিথিদের কাছে এক অন্য অভিজ্ঞতা স্থাপন করা। বিশিষ্ট গায়ক তথা প্রখ্যাত বাংলা ব্যান্ড ভূমির প্রধান কণ্ঠশিল্পী সৌমিত্র রায় এবং মিঃ কে বিজয়ন জিএম, অ্যাক্রোপলিস মলের এই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এছাড়া আবাসিক এনজিও ইউনিভার্সাল স্মাইলের শিশুরা একটি মজাদার আম খাওয়ার প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নিয়েছিল। এই উপলক্ষে, মিস্টার কে বিজয়ন এবং সৌমিত্র রায়, মারলিন আই অ্যাম কোলকাতা ও মার্লিনের সিএসআর শাখার পক্ষ থেকে এনজিওর শিশুদের জন্য শিক্ষামূলক জিনিস সহ প্রয়োজনীয় খাদ্য সামগ্রী আগে থেকে পাঠিয়েছিলেন।
এবারের এই আম উৎসবের বিশেষত্ব হল, স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর মহিলা এবং কৃষক গোষ্ঠীর অংশগ্রহণ। এই গোষ্ঠীর একটি দল এখানে বিভিন্ন ধরণের খাদ্য সামগ্রী নিয়ে অংশগ্রহণ করেছে। ম্যাঙ্গো স্কোয়াশ-ম্যাঙ্গো কেক থেকে আম চা। চাইওলিক এবং পুরনো মিষ্টি ব্র্যান্ড নলিন চন্দ্র দাস অ্যান্ড সন্সের মতো ব্র্যান্ডগুলিও মালদা থেকে বিভিন্ন ধরণের আম এবং উপাদান হিসাবে আমের সাথে মিষ্টি প্রদর্শন করেছে। স্ব-সহায়তা গোষ্ঠী বা এসএইচজি এর মধ্যে জুলি, আপয়ন ও ডালিয়া এসএইচজি এই উৎসবে অংশ নিয়েছে। এই স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীগুলির সমস্ত পণ্য দারিদ্র্যসীমার নীচের মহিলাদের দ্বারা উৎপাদিত হয়, যারা অর্থনৈতিক এবং সামাজিকভাবে অনগ্রসর। এই স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীগুলি সমস্ত স্বাস্থ্যকর পণ্য উতপাদন করে এবং সেগুলি বিক্রি করে, নিজেদের জীবিকা নির্বাহ করে। এই মহিলারা দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন এবং প্রশিক্ষণের উপরও নজর রাখে, যা তাদের দক্ষতার বাইরেও এক মজবুত জীবনযাপন করতে সহায়তা করে। কৃষ্ণা এফআইজি নামে এক কৃষক স্বার্থ গোষ্ঠী কৃষকদের চাহিদা পূরণ করতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। এবং জীবিকা নির্বাহ এবং জৈব চাষের উপর নজর রেখে সঠিক মূল্যে তার বিক্রেতাদের কাছে জৈব ফল ও সবজি বিক্রি করে। প্রাপ্ত আম গুলি সরাসরি কৃষকদের কাছ থেকে আসে।

Mango Mania – This feast is a mango festival organized by the association. The festival began on June 29 and will continue till July 3 from 12 noon to 9 pm every day. Acropolis Mall has organised the festival to celebrate the season’s joy with mango, the king of fruits. The aim is to set up a different experience for the guests with delicious food filled with the taste of this mango. Eminent singers and lead vocalists of renowned Bengali band Bhoomi Soumitra Roy and Mr K Vijayan GM, were present at the event at Acropolis Mall. Apart from this, children of residential NGO Universal Smile participated in a fun mango eating competition. On this occasion, Mr K Vijayan and Soumitra Roy, Merlin I am had sent essential food items, including educational items, for children of the NGO in advance on behalf of CSR branch of I Am Kolkata and Marlin. The specialty of this year’s mango festival is the participation of women and farmer groups of self-help groups. A group of this group has participated here with a variety of food items. Mango tea from mango squash-mango cake. Brands like Chaiwalik and old sweet brand Nalin Chandra Das & Sons have also displayed sweets with mangoes as a variety of mangoes and ingredients from Malda. Among the self-help groups or SHGs, Julie, Apayon and Dalia SHGs have participated in the festival. All the products of these self-help groups are produced by women below the poverty line, who are economically and socially backward. These self-help groups produce all healthy products and sell them, earning their livelihood. These women also keep an eye on skill development and training, which helps them lead a strong life beyond their skills. Krishna FIG, a farmer interest group, has managed to cater to farmers’ needs. and sells organic fruits and vegetables to its vendors at the right price with an eye on livelihood and organic farming. The mangoes received come directly from the farmers.
