মালদা- রাজ্য সড়কের পাশে রাস্তার নীচে উল্টে গেল স্কুল বাস। তড়িঘড়ি স্থানীয়রা ছুটে এসে খুদেদের উদ্ধার কাজে হাত লাগায় । শনিবার দুপুর আড়াইটা নাগাদ মালদহে ইংরেজবাজার ব্লকের লক্ষ্মীপুর এলাকায় মালদহ মানিকচক রাজ্য সড়কের ওপর দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে। স্কুল বাসটি দুর্ঘটনার জেরে গুরুতর জখম হয়েছে প্রায় ৩০ জন। তাদের মধ্যে তেরো জনকে মালদহ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে আশঙ্কাজনক অবস্থায় ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। স্থানীয় ও পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, মালদহ কেন্দ্রীয় বিদ্যালয়ের পড়ুয়াদের স্কুল বাসটি। পঞ্চম থেকে দশম শ্রেণীর পড়ুয়ারা বাসটিতে ছিল। স্কুল থেকে বেড়ানোর পরে রাজ্য সরকারের উপরে ওঠে বাসটি। কিছুটা দূর যাওয়া মাত্র হঠাৎ বাঁদিকে রাস্তার পাশে নয়ানজুলিতে উল্টে যায়। কিভাবে দুর্ঘটনা ঘটলো তা এখনো জানা যায়নি। গাড়ি থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয় প্রায় ৩০ থেকে ৪০ জন। খবর পেয়ে দ্রুত ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় দমকল বাহিনী ও ট্রাফিক পুলিশের কর্তারা। মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছে ওম কুমার, বান্টি কুমার সিং, কৌশিক বর্মন, অদ্বৈত রাজ, শুভজিৎ সিং, উজ্জ্বল দাস, বিশাল কুমার ও দেবজিত পাল। জখন পড়ূয়াদের প্রত্যেকেই সপ্তম থেকে দশম শ্রেণীতে পড়াশোনা করে।
Malda- The school bus overturned under the road along the state highway. The locals rushed in and rushed to the rescue of the kids. The accident took place around 2.30pm on Saturday on the Maldah Manikchak state road in Laxmipur area of Englishbazar block in Malda. Around 30 people were seriously injured in the school bus accident. Thirteen of them have been admitted to Malda Medical College Hospital in a critical condition. According to local and police sources, the school bus belongs to the students of Malda Kendriya Vidyalaya. Students of classes 5 to 10 were on the bus. The bus went up to the state government after it left the school. Just a short distance away, suddenly on the left side of the road it overturned at Nayanjuli. It is not yet known how the accident occurred. About 30 to 40 people were rescued from the car. On receiving the information, fire brigade and traffic police officials rushed to the spot. Om Kumar, Bunty Kumar Singh, Kaushik Barman, Advait Raj, Shubhajit Singh, Ujjwal Das, Vishal Kumar and Debjit Pal are undergoing treatment at Malda Medical College Hospital. All of the students study in the 7th to 10th standard.
