ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ বাঙালীরা যেমন খেতে ভালোবাসে তেমন রান্না করে খাওয়াতে ও ভালোবাসে। আবার বিভিন্ন ধরণের খাবার বানানোর পরীক্ষা নিরীক্ষা চলে। এই প্রথম দ্য ফুড ভেঞ্চারস গত শনিবার বিকেলে ঘন বরষামুখর সন্ধ্যায় বাইপাশের ধারে টপক্যাট ফুড গ্যালারিতে ফুড স্টোরির উদ্যোগে হেড টু হেডের সহযোগিতায় দ্য ফুড ভেঞ্জার্স নির্মাণ করল এক ফুড লাভারস অ্যাপ। এককথায় হাতের মুঠোয় খানা খাজানা। বাড়তি আকর্ষণটি এফ এ গ্যাস্ট্রোনমিক্যাল অ্যাওয়ার্ড। পুরস্কৃত হলো কলকাতার বেশ কিছু রেস্তোরাঁ। নাগরিক পছন্দের সঙ্গে জুরিদের পছন্দের সমন্বয় ঘটিয়ে সেরা খাদ্য সওদাগরদের স্বীকৃতি দেওয়া হলো। পুরস্কার পেলেন ১৪ জন ব্লগার, ৫ জন স্ট্রিট ফুডের দোকান ও এই শহরের ২০ টি রেস্টুরেন্ট।
এই পুরস্কার প্রসঙ্গে এই ফুড ভেঞ্চার্সের কর্ণধার অভিজিৎ বিশ্বাস এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে জানালেন ২০১৯ সাল থেকে তাদের এই পথ চলা শুরু। এই মুহূর্তে এই গ্রুপের মেম্বার ২৯ হাজার ৬০০ জন। এই প্রতিযোগিতায় নাম দিয়েছিল ৫৬ জন। তাদের মধ্যে আজ পুরস্কার পেলেন ৩৯ জন। প্রতি ২ বছর অন্তর এই অন লাইন প্রতিযোগিতা আমরা করবো ঠিক করেছি। এইবারের প্রতিযোগিতায় বিচারক ছিলেন ডোমা ইয়াং, লুনা চ্যাটার্জী, পারমিতা ঘোষ, শুভাশিস চট্টোপাধ্যায়, ইন্দ্রজিৎ লাহিড়ী। আমাদের এই অনুষ্ঠান ও পুরস্কার ও সন্মানিত করার মূল উদ্দেশ্য হলো আগামীদিনে নতুন প্রজন্মের নাগরিকেরা অর্থাৎ ফুড ব্লগাররা যাতে আরো নতুন নতুন খাবার বানাতে পারে। এই পরিষ্কার প্রদান অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন, বিলকিস পারভিন , তন্ময় চ্যাটার্জি, ইন্দ্রজিৎ লাহিড়ী, পারমিতা ঘোষ, পামেলা নন্দী, সুরজিৎ চক্রবর্তী, অভিজিৎ বিশ্বাস, শুভাশিস চ্যাটার্জি, রুদ্রপ্রসাদ চ্যাটার্জি, সৃষ্টি ঘোষ, হেমন্ত মাদ্রা ও নীলাদ্রি মুখার্জি। 
প্রথম বছরের পুরস্কৃতদের তালিকায় আছে মহারাজা স্ন্যাকস, লর্ডস এর মোড়ের সম্রাট স্ন্যাকস, শক্তি স্ন্যাকস, স্ন্যাকস সেন্টার, হাজী লাবাইকের বিরিয়ানি। রেস্তোরাঁ তালিকায় আছে ২০ টি সংস্থা। অন্যতম সপ্তপদী, পর্কোতিনি, ডব্লিউ, টি এফ, মেওয়া শপি প্রমুখ। অনুষ্ঠানে হাজির ছিলেন কলকাতার উৎসাহী বহু ফুড ব্লগাররা। বাঙালির সংস্কৃতির অন্যতম খাদ্য সংস্কৃতি। কবি বলেছেন, বিবিধের মাঝে দেখো মিলন মহান। কচুরি থেকে কোলাপুরী চিকেন, দক্ষিণী ধোসা থেকে লেবানিজ, জাপানি থেকে চাইনিজ। বিশ্বজোড়া খাদ্য সম্ভারে চেখে দেখাই বাঙালির উদারতা। সব মিলিয়ে এই প্রথম উপাদেও বিভিন্ন খাবার বানানোর জন্য পুরস্কারের সন্ধ্যেটা ভালো জমে উঠেছিলো টপ কেট সিসিউ তে।

The list of first year awards includes Maharaja Snacks, Emperor Snacks at Lord’s Turn, Energy Snacks, Snacks Centre, Haji Labaik’s Biryani. There are 20 restaurants on the list. One of the saptapadis, Parkotini, W, TF, Mewa Shapi, etc. Many enthusiastic food bloggers from Kolkata were present on the occasion. It is one of the food cultures of Bengali culture.
