ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ গত ১ লা জুলাই শুক্রবার ছিলো জাতীয় ডাক্তার দিবস। এই দিন সন্ধ্যায় রোটারী সদনে এই শহরের বিখ্যাত ডাক্তারদের সন্মান জানালো ইন্ডিয়ান মেডিক্যাল এসোসিয়েশন ও রোটারী ক্লাব। মঞ্চে উপস্থিত ছিলেন রাজ্য সভার এম পি ডাক্তার শান্তনু সেন, রোটারী ক্লাবের প্রেসিডেন্ট রাজকুমার আগারওয়াল, ডাক্তার সুকুমার মুখার্জী, ডাক্তার সন্দীপ চ্যাটার্জী, ডাক্তার চন্দন ব্যানার্জী, ডাক্তার সুকল্যান পুরকায়স্থ, ডাক্তার সুদিপ্ত রায়, ডাক্তার গোপা মুখার্জী, ডাক্তার রতন চক্রবর্তী, ডাক্তার দৈপায়ণ মজুমদার, ডাক্তার গোলক বিহারী মাঝি, ডাক্তার এস কে শর্মা, ডাক্তার মিনাক্ষী গাঙ্গুলী, ডাক্তার বিবর্তন সাহা সহ আরো অনেকে। তাদের সকলকে উত্তরীয়, স্মারক ও পুষ্পস্তবক দিয়ে সংবর্ধনা জানায় ইন্ডিয়ান মেডিক্যাল এসোসিয়েশন ও রোটারী ক্লাব। অনুষ্ঠানে বিখ্যাত ৫০ জন ডাক্তারকে সংবর্ধনা জানানো হয়। সাংসদ ও ডাক্তার শান্তনু সেন বলেন ডাক্তার বিধান চন্দ্র রায়ের আদর্শকে নিয়ে আমরা এগিয়ে চলেছি। ডাক্তাররা রোগীদের সবসময় বাঁচানোর চেষ্টা করে। কিন্তু খুব খারাপ অবস্থা হলে কিছু করার থাকে না, তা বলে রোগীর বাড়ির লোকজন ডাক্তারদের গায়ে হাত দেয়। হসপিটাল ভাঙচুর করে, খারাপ ভাষায় কথা বলে। এটা কোনো মতে করা উচিত নয়। সমাজে আমরা সবাইকে নিয়ে চলতে চাই।
তিনি আরো বলেন এই কোভিডের সময় এই ডাক্তাররা প্রাণ হাতে নিয়ে বহু মানুষের প্রাণ বাঁচিয়েছেন। বহু ডাক্তার এই রোগে মারাও গেছেন। তাই আমাদের সব সময় মনে রাখতে হবে ডাক্তার মানুষের বন্ধু, শত্রু নয়। এই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত বিভিন্ন ডাক্তাররা রাজ্য সরকারের স্বাস্থ্য সাথী, কলকাতায় উন্নত মানের চিকিৎসার কথা তুলে ধরেন।

All of them were felicitated by the Indian Medical Association and The Rotary Club with a wreath and a wreath. 50 famous doctors were felicitated on the occasion. MP and Dr Shantanu Sen said, “We are moving ahead with the ideals of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. Doctors are always trying to save patients. But if the situation is very bad, there is nothing to do, saying that the people of the patient’s house touch the doctors. The hospital breaks down, speaks bad language. It shouldn’t be done in any way. We want to take everyone together in society. He also said that during this Covid period, these doctors have saved the lives of many people by taking their lives in their hands. Many doctors have also died of this disease. So we must always remember that doctors are people’s friends, not enemies.
