মালদাঃ পুরনো বিবাদের জেরে ভাইকে খুনের চেষ্টার অভিযোগ দাদার বিরুদ্ধে। ভাইকে হাসুয়া দিয়ে এলোপাথাড়ি কোপানো হয় বলে অভিযোগ। তাকে আশঙ্কাজনক অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। জখম ভাইয়ের নাম রাজু মন্ডল (৩০)। মোথাবাড়ি থানার চৌধুরীটোলা এলাকায় বাড়ি তার। অভিযুক্ত দাদার নাম সুকুমার মন্ডল (৩৫)। রাজুর স্ত্রী ও ছেলে অসুস্থ। তাদের ওষুধ আনতে সাইকেল নিয়ে বাইরে বেরিয়ে ছিলেন রাজু। ওই সময় রাস্তায় রাজুকে একা পেয়ে তার পথ আটকায় অভিযুক্ত দাদা সুকুমার। তারপর তাকে কোপানো হয় বলে অভিযোগ। জানা গেছে পুরনো এক বিবাদের জেরে ভাইয়ের উপর আক্রমণ চালায় সুকুমার বলে অভিযোগ। ঘটনার পর থেকে পলাতক অভিযুক্ত। তদন্ত নেমেছে মোথাবাড়ি থানার পুলিশ।
Malda: Dada is accused of attempting to murder his brother over an old dispute. The brother was allegedly beaten randomly with a hasua. He was rescued in a critical condition and admitted to Malda Medical College and Hospital. The injured brother has been identified as Raju Mondal (30). His house is in Chaudharytola area of Mothabari police station. The accused’s grandfather has been identified as Sukumar Mandal (35). Raju’s wife and son are ill. Raju had gone out on his bicycle to get their medicines. At that time, raju was found alone on the road and his path was blocked by the accused’s grandfather Sukumar. He was then allegedly beaten up. It is learnt that Sukumar allegedly attacked his brother over an old dispute. The accused has been absconding since the incident. Police from Mothabari police station are investigating.
