মালদা: মর্মান্তিক পথ দুর্ঘটনায় দেহ থেকে ডান পা ছিন্ন হয়ে গেল দু’ বছরের এক শিশুর। ঘটনায় আহত হয়েছেন আরো তিনজন। সোমবার সকালে মর্মান্তিক এই পথ দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে পুখুরিয়া থানার চাঁপাই কদমটুলি এলাকায়। জানা গেছে একটি মোটর বাইকের চারজন আড়াই ডাঙ্গা হাসপাতালে যাওয়ার পথে চাঁপাই কদমটুলি এলাকায় বেপরোয়া একটি বোলোরো গাড়ি নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে তাদের পিষে দিয়ে চলে যায়। ঘটনায় দুই বছরের শিশু সেন্টু হকের ডান পা দেহ থেকে ছিন্ন হয়ে যায়। জানা গেছে এই ঘটনায় তার বাবা ফারুক হকের ও ডান পা ভেঙে যায়। তার পাশাপাশি এই ঘটনায় তার স্ত্রী ইলুয়া খাতুন এবং মেয়ে সিম্পা খাতুন গুরুতরভাবে আহত হয়। রক্তাক্ত অবস্থায় তাদের উদ্ধার করে প্রথমে প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্র এবং পরে মালদা মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসা হয়।
Malda: A two-year-old boy’s right leg was amputated from his body in a tragic road accident. Three others were injured in the incident. The tragic road accident took place on Monday morning in Champai Kadamtuli area of Pukhuria police station. It is learnt that four persons on a motor bike on their way to 2.5 danga hospital lost control of a reckless Boloro car in Champai Kadamtuli area and crushed them to death. Two-year-old Sentu Haque’s right leg was severed from the body. It is learnt that his father Farooq Haque also fractured his right leg in the incident. Besides him, his wife Ilua Khatun and daughter Simpa Khatun were seriously injured in the incident. They were rescued in a bleeding state and brought first to the primary health centre and later to the Malda Medical College Hospital.
