ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ এই প্রথমবার নিউ টিউন সর্বজনীন দুর্গা উৎসব অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলেছে নিউ টাউন সেন্ট্রাল শপিং মলের মাঠে। গতকাল অর্থাৎ ১৩ ই জুলাই ২০২২ বুধবার বিকেলে হয়ে গেলো তার খুঁটি পুজো। এই পুরো পুজোর ভার নিয়েছেন নিউটাউনের সকল মহিলারা। মহিলা পুরোহিত দিয়ে এই দুর্গা পুজোর খুঁটি পুজো সম্পন্ন হলো। পরিকল্পনা ও সৃজনে আছেন প্রশান্ত পাল। খুঁটি পুজোয় উপস্থিত ছিলেন সল্টলেক ও নিউ টাউনের মেয়র কৃষ্ণা চক্রবর্তী, রাজারহাটের বিধায়ক তাপস চট্টোপাধ্যায়, চিত্রকর শুভাপ্রসন্ন, হাডকোর চেয়ারম্যান দেবাশিস সেন, রবীন্দ্রতীর্থ এর প্রধান অনুপ মতিলাল, নিউ টাউন পুলিশ কমিশনার বিশপ সরকার সহ আরো অনেকে।
Indrajit Aich: For the first time, the New Tune Universal Durga Festival is going to be held at the New Town Central Shopping Mall ground. Yesterday i.e. 13th July 2022 on Wednesday afternoon, his pole puja took place. All the women of Newtown have taken charge of this whole puja. This Durga Puja pole puja was completed with a female priest. Prashant Pal is in the planning and creation. Mayor of Salt Lake and New Town Krishna Chakraborty, Rajarhat MLA Tapas Chattopadhyay, painter Shubhaprasanna, Hadco chairman Debashis Sen, Ravindratirtha’s chief Anup Motilal, New Town Police Commissioner Bishop Sarkar and others were present on the occasion.
