রানাঘাট থেকে বিক্রম পোদ্দারের রিপোর্টঃ ২১ শে জুলাই-র প্রস্তুতি কার্যকরী করতে নদীয়া দক্ষিণ সাংগঠনিক জেলার সভাপতি রত্না ঘোষ কর এর ডাকা সভা আজ জনসমুদ্রে পরিণত হল। উক্ত সভাকে কেন্দ্র করে একটি মহা মিছিলের আয়োজন করা হয়। প্রায় ১৫ থেকে ২০ হাজার মানুষের সমাগম ঘটে যা রানাঘাট শহরকে কিছুক্ষণের জন্য স্তব্ধ করে দেয়। উক্ত মিছিলকে সংঘবদ্ধ করতে ছাত্র যুব নেতা আস্তিক দাসের ভূমিকা যথেষ্ট তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ বলে মনে করছেন রানাঘাটের রাজনৈতিক মহল। এছাড়াও মিছিলে পা মিলিয়েছেন রানাঘাট শহররের পৌর প্রধান কোশলদেব বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়, তাপস ঘোষ , দীপক বোস ও আরো অন্যান্য নেতৃত্ব।
Vikram Poddar’s report from Ranaghat: The meeting called by Ratna Ghosh Kar, president of Nadia South organisational district, today turned into a sea of people to implement preparations for July 21. A great march was organized around that meeting. About 15,000 to 20,000 people gathered, which brought Ranaghat city to a standstill for a while. The role of student youth leader Astik Das in organising the rally is considered significant enough by the political circles of Ranaghat. Apart from this, the municipal chief of Ranaghat city, Koshaldev Banerjee, Tapas Ghosh, Deepak Bose and other leaders also joined the march.
