নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদনঃ সম্প্রতি ১৭ই জুলাই ২০২২, বিএফসির উদ্যোগে কলকাতার কলাকুশলীদের নিয়ে বর্ধমান টাউন হলে হই হই করে পালিত হয় রেইনবো ফেস্টিভ্যাল ২০২২। এদিন অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট মডেল ও অভিনেত্রী অনুক্তা ঘোষাল। রেইনবো ফ্ল্যাগ হাতে সকলের সাথে পা মিলিয়ে তাঁকে হাঁটতে দেখা যায় ‘প্রাইড ওয়াক’ পদযাত্রায়। উদ্দেশ্য ছিল একটাই ,মানুষের মন থেকে সকল বিভেদ মুছে ফেলা। প্রতিটা মানুষের জন্য সমাজে প্রতিষ্ঠা করা সম অধিকার ও মর্যাদা। অনুষ্ঠানে শুরু থেকে শেষ অবধি সমান ভাবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিএফসির প্রেসিডেন্ট মৈনাক মুখোপাধ্যায়। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিত্ব অলোকানন্দা রায়, নবীন কুমার সাহা এবং ডঃ সন্তোষ কুমার গিরি। বিশিষ্ট অতিথিদের মনোমুগ্ধকর বক্তব্যে এদিন সকলের মনে উদঘাটিত হয় নবীন আলোর দুয়ার। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত সংগীত শিল্পী আরাত্রিকা ভট্টাচার্য ও অন্তরা সাহার অপূর্ব সংগীত পরিবেশনা অনুষ্ঠানে অন্য মাত্রা যোগ করে। 
বেশ কয়েক মাসের ঘুমহীন রাত আর টেনশনের কড়াকড়ি সবটুকু ছাপিয়ে এ যেন এক অভূতপূর্ব সাফল্যের দিন। ভুলচুক এর সামান্য জায়গা টুকুও ছিল না।সমাজের কাছে স্পষ্ট বার্তা দেওয়াটা প্রয়োজন ছিল ভীষণ ভাবে। এবং মেসেজটা হতে হত লাউড এবং ক্লিয়ার। এই ছিল বিএফসির উদ্দেশ্য। বিএফসি পরিবার পাশে আছে, এবং সারা জীবন পাশে থাকবে সকল মানুষের। বিএফসি পাশে থাকবে lgbtq কমিউনিটির। যে কাজ করতে কষ্ট নেই, রিস্ক নেই, ভয় নেই, সেই কাজ বড্ডই গতানুগতিক। আর আজ বলা যায় রেইনবো ফেস্টিভ্যালে মানুষের উজার করা ভালোবাসাই আগামী দিনে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার অনুপ্রেরণা। বিরোধিতা র কথাও ভাবা হয়েছিল। যদিও তাতেও কিছুই যায় আসতো না। বিএফসি পরিবার ঠিক কে ঠিক, ভুল কে ভুল বলতে জানে। বিএফসি পরিবার সবাইকে ভয়েস দিতে, প্ল্যাটফর্ম দিতে জানে। তবে এখানেই শেষ নয়। বরং একটা লম্বা যুদ্ধের শুরু। যুদ্ধ যখন পরিবারের সাথে, যুদ্ধ যখন সমাজের সাথে,যুদ্ধ যখন আইডেন্টিটির সাথে, সেই যুদ্ধে বিএফসি পাশে থাকবেই। এটা আশ্বাস এবং বিশ্বাস বিএফসির তরফ থেকে।কারণ আইডিয়ারা বুলেটপ্রুফ। আজ যা শুরু হয়েছে আগামীতে আরো সহস্র মানুষ পাশে দাঁড়াবে,লেগেসি গুলো এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাবে। আর তাইতো সেদিন তাদের গলায় শোনা যাচ্ছিল দৃপ্ত শ্লোগান ‘আমরা করবো জয় নিশ্চয়।’ আজ হলে আজ। একশো বছর পরে হলেও তাই সই। উপস্থিত ছিলেন অলোকানন্দ রায়, মৈনাক মুখোপাধ্য়ায়, অনুক্তা ঘোষাল, আরাত্রিকা ভট্ট্যচয়, অন্তরা সাহা। বিশেষ অতিথি ডঃ সন্তোষ কুমার গিরি এবং জনাব নবীন কুমার সাহা।
Self-report: Recently, on July 17, 2022, the Rainbow Festival 2022 was celebrated at the Burdwan Town Hall with the cast of Kolkata under the initiative of BFC. Eminent model and actress Anukta Ghoshal was also present on the occasion. He can be seen walking on the ‘Pride Walk’ walk with everyone holding a rainbow flag. There was only one purpose: to remove all divisions from people’s minds. Equal rights and dignity to be established in society for every human being. BFC president Mainak Mukherjee was equally present at the event from start to finish. Prominent personalities Alokananda Roy, Navin Kumar Saha and Dr Santosh Kumar Giri were present on the occasion. In the mesmerising speech of the distinguished guests, the doors of the new light were opened in everyone’s mind on this day. The wonderful musical performances by music composers Aratrika Bhattacharya and Antara Saha who were present on the occasion added another dimension to the event. It’s an unprecedented day of success for several months of sleepless nights and tension. There wasn’t even a little room for error. It was very important to send a clear message to the society. And the message had to be loud and clear. This was the purpose of BFC. The BFC family is on the side, and will be with all the people throughout their lives. BFC will be on the side of the lgbtq community. 
The work that is not difficult to do, there is no risk, there is no fear, that work is very traditional. And today it can be said that the love of the people in the Rainbow Festival is the inspiration to move forward in the days to come. Opposition was also thought of. Even though it didn’t matter. The BFC family knows who’s right, who’s wrong. The BFC family knows how to give voice to everyone, to give platform. But it doesn’t end there. It’s the beginning of a long war. When the war is with the family, when the war is with the society, when the war is with identity, the BFC will be on the side in that war. It is assurance and trust from the BFC. Because ideas are bulletproof. What has started today, in the future, thousands of more people will stand by, taking the legacies forward. And so on that day, their voices were heard with a loud slogan, ‘We will surely win.’ “Today is today. A hundred years later, that’s it. Alokananda Roy, Mainak Mukhopadhyay, Anukta Ghoshal, Aratrika Bhattacharya, Antara Saha were present. The special guests are Dr. Santosh Kumar Giri and Mr. Naveen Kumar Saha.
