গোপাল বিশ্বাস,নদীয়া-ঃ স্ত্রীকে খুন করে মেঝেতে পুঁতে দিল স্বামী। এমনি হাড়-হিম করা ভয়াবহ ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে নদীয়ার ধানতলায়। সূত্রের খবর অনুযায়ী জানা যায় নদীয়ার ধানতলা সংলগ্ন শংকরপুর এলাকা থেকে ধানতলা থানায় খবর যায় এক ব্যক্তি নিজের স্ত্রীকে খুন করে মেঝেতে পুঁতে ঢালাই দিয়ে দিয়েছেন। খবর জানাজানি হতেই ঘটনাস্থলে আসে ধানতলা থানার পুলিশ এবং মাটি খুঁড়ে উদ্ধার হয় একটি পঁচা গলা দেহ। সূত্রের খবর থেকে জানা যায়, ওই গৃহবধুর নাম শিবানী লাহা, বাড়ি সোদপুর ঘোলা থানার অন্তর্গত নাটাগরে। জানা যায় সে বিবাহিত হলেও স্বামীর কাছ থেকে চলে এসে অভিযুক্ত যুবক রবীন্দ্রনাথ রায়ের সঙ্গে বসবাস করছিলেন। অভিযুক্ত ওই ব্যক্তি ওই গৃহবধূকে খুন করে বেশ কয়েক মাস পলাতক ছিলেন। শনিবার পুলিশ গোপন সূত্রে খবর পেয়ে নদীয়ার গাংনাপুর এলাকা থেকে গ্রেপ্তার করে তাকে। প্রাথমিক জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের পর পুলিশ জানতে পারে খুনের আসল কারণ, অভিযুক্ত যুবক জানায় প্রতিবেশীর যুবকের সঙ্গে শারীরিক সম্পর্কে লিপ্ত থাকার সময় আপত্তিজনক অবস্থায় ওই দুজনকে দেখে ফেলে অভিযুক্ত রবীন্দ্রনাথ। এর পরেই সামনে থাকা একটি মোটা ভারী কাঠের বস্তু দিয়ে সজোরে মাথায় আঘাত করে গৃহবধূকে। ঘটনাস্থলে লুটিয়ে পড়ে গৃহবধূ মৃত্যু নিশ্চিত করতে গলা টিপে শ্বাসরোধ করে খুন করে এবং রাজা মন্ডল নামে ওই যুবককে সাথে নিয়েই অভিযুক্ত যুবক নিজের বাড়ির ঘরের মেঝের তলায় গৃহবধুর দেহ পুঁতে ফেলে উপরে সিমেন্টের ঢালাই দিয়ে দেয়। এই ঘটনায় কামালপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত প্রধান বিথীকা বিশ্বাস ধানতলা থানায় একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করেন। অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে তদন্ত শুরু করে অভিযুক্ত ওই ব্যক্তিকে শনিবার গ্রেপ্তার করে ধানতলা থানার পুলিশ। রবিবার অভিযুক্ত ২ যুবককে আদালতে তোলা হয়েছে। ধৃতদের নিজেদের হেফাজত চেয়ে আদালতে আবেদন চেয়েছে পুলিশ। এই ঘটনায় আর কারা যুক্ত আছে তা জানতে তদন্ত শুরু করেছে ধানতলা থানার পুলিশ।

After initial interrogation, the police came to know the real reason for the murder, the accused said that the accused Rabindranath saw the two in an objectionable condition while he was having a physical relationship with the neighbour’s youth. After this, he hit the housewife on the head with a thick heavy wooden object in front of her. After collapsing on the spot, the housewife strangulated her to death to ensure her death, and along with the youth named Raja Mandal, the accused youth buried the body of the housewife under the floor of his house and poured cement on top of the house. Kamalpur gram panchayat head Vithika Biswas lodged a written complaint with dhantala police station in this regard. Based on the complaint, the police of Dhantala police station arrested the accused on Saturday. The two accused youths were produced before the court on Sunday. The police have sought an application in the court seeking their custody. Police from Dhantala police station have started an investigation to find out who else is involved in the incident.
