শক্তিপদ মাহাত, পুরুলিয়া: কুড়মি সেনার আন্দোলনের জেরে কুড়মালি ভাষায় পঠন-পাঠনের অনুমতি পেল এবার কুড়ুকতুপা সীতারাম মাহাতো মেমোরিয়াল কলেজ । কুড়মালি ভাষা দ্বিতীয় রাজ ভাষার স্বীকৃতি পাওয়ার পরেই SKBU বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অন্তর্গত একাধিক কলেজে কুড়মালি ভাষায় পঠন-পাঠনের অনুমতি পেলেও অনুমতি পায়নি কুড়মি অধ্যুষিত কুড়ুকতুপা সীতারাম মাহাতো মেমোরিয়াল কলেজ। এর পরেই এলাকা বাসীর দাবি মেনে কুড়মালি ভাষায় পঠন-পাঠনের দাবিতে গত ৭ ই জুন সীতারাম মাহাতো মেমোরিয়াল কলেজে ডেপুটেশন দেয় কুড়মি সেনা। আর তার পরেই কুড়মালি ভাষায় পঠন-পাঠনের অনুমিত পেল কলেজ। আনন্দিত এলাকা বাসি। সিধু কানু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ সহ সিতারাম মাহাতো মেমোরিয়াল কলেজ পক্ষকে ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানিয়েছেন কুড়মি সেনার রাজ্য সভাপতি রবীন্দ্রনাথ মাহাতো।
Shaktipada Mahato, Purulia: In the wake of the Kurmi Sena’s agitation, the Kuruktupa Sitaram Mahato Memorial College has been allowed to read and write in Kurmali language. After the kurmali language was recognized as the second raj language, several colleges under the SKBU University were allowed to study in the Kurmali language, but the permission was not given to the Kuruktupa Sitaram Mahato Memorial College, which is dominated by Kurmi. After this, the Kurmi Army gave a deputation to Sitaram Mahato Memorial College on June 7 to demand that the people of the area study in The Kurmali language be followed. And after that, the college got the idea of studying in Kurmali language. The happy area is stale. The state president of The Kurmi Sena, Rabindranath Mahato, thanked the Sitaram Mahato Memorial College authorities as well as the Sidhu Kanu University authorities.
