সংবাদদাতা মৃত্যুঞ্জয় রায়(নাগরিক প্রতিরোধ মঞ্চ)ঃ আজ (27/07/22) নাগরিক প্রতিরোধ মঞ্চের উদ্যোগে শিয়ালদহ ডিআরএম অফিসে শিয়ালদহ দক্ষিণ বিভাগের এবং উত্তর বিভাগের পাঁচ শতাধিক নাগরিকের বিক্ষোভ প্রদর্শন করা হয়। ডিআরএম অফিসে বিক্ষোভ থেকে প্রাক্তন সাংসদ ও নাগরিক প্রতিরোধ মঞ্চের কনভেনার ডঃ তরুণ মণ্ডলের নেতৃত্বে ছয় সদস্যের এক প্রতিনিধি দল ডি আর এম এর সাথে দেখা করে। ডিআরএম স্মারক লিপি গ্রহণ করেন এবং দীর্ঘক্ষণ আলোচনা হয়। আলোচনায় তিনি বলেন, সুপ্রিম কোর্টের অর্ডার অনুযায়ী উচ্ছেদ করা হবে। নাগরিক প্রতিরোধ মঞ্চ থেকে তীব্র ভাষায় বিরোধিতা করে বলা হয়, আইনের জন্য মানুষ, মানুষের জন্য আইন নয়। সুপ্রিম কোর্ট যেমন একথা বলেছে কিন্তু তারা মানুষ, তারা দেশের নাগরিক তাদের ভোটার কার্ড আধার কার্ড আছে। তাদেরকে এভাবে উচ্ছেদ করা যেতে পারে না। বিকল্প জীবিকার ব্যবস্থা না করে উচ্ছেদ করার কোন রকম চেষ্টা হলে আমরা শেষ মুহূর্ত পর্যন্ত সঙ্ঘবদ্ধ ভাবে তা প্রতিরোধ করব। তিনি আরো বলেন, বাকি যে দাবিগুলি আপনাদের রয়েছে যেমন আগরপাড়া স্টেশন, শিয়ালদা স্টেশন ওভার ব্রিজ এবং সমস্ত স্টেশনে মাইকিং প্লাটফর্মের উচ্চতা বৃদ্ধি এই দাবিগুলির যৌক্তিকতাকে স্বীকার করে নেন এবং তিনি যথাযথ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে বলে জানান। প্রতিনিধি দলে ছিলেন নাগরিক প্রতিরোধ মঞ্চের আহ্বায়ক ও প্রাক্তন সাংসদ ডাক্তার তরুণ মন্ডল, বিশিষ্ট শ্রমিক নেতা শান্তি ঘোষ, নন্দ পাত্র, প্রদীপ চৌধুরী প্রমুখ।
Reporter Mrityunjay Roy (Nagrik Pratirodh Manch): Today (27/07/22) under the initiative of Nagrik Pratirodh Manch, more than 500 citizens of Sealdah South Division and North Division staged a demonstration at the Sealdah DRM office. A six-member delegation led by Dr Tarun Mandal, former MP and convenor of Nagrik Pratirodh Manch from the protest at drm office, met the DRM. The DRM accepted the commemorative script and there was a lengthy discussion. During the discussion, he said that the eviction will be done according to the order of the Supreme Court. From the Civil Resistance Forum, it is opposed in strong language, saying that people are for the law, not the law for the people. As the Supreme Court has said but they are people, they are citizens of the country have their voter card Aadhaar card. They can’t be evicted like this. If there is any attempt to evict without providing an alternative livelihood, we will resist it unitedly till the last moment. He further said that the remaining demands that you have such as Agarpara station, Sealdah station over bridge and increase in height of micing platforms at all stations acknowledge the rationale of these demands and he said appropriate action will be taken. The delegation included the convener of The Nagrik Pratirodh Manch and former MP Dr Tarun Mondal, prominent labour leaders Shanti Ghosh, Nanda Patra, Pradip Chowdhury and others.
