মালদা: বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী স্বর্গীয় রামচন্দ্র ঘোষের স্মৃতিস্বরণে মহদিপুর সি এন্ড এফ এজেন্ট ওয়েলফেয়ার অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের উদ্যোগে অনুষ্ঠিত হল স্বেচ্ছায় এক রক্তদান শিবির। বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে ভারত বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তের মহদিপুর স্থল বন্দরে আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল এই রক্তদান শিবিরের। জানা যায় এদিন দুই শতাধিক রক্তদাতা রক্ত দান করেন। উপস্থিত ছিলেন
মালদা জেলা পরিষদের কর্মাধ্যক্ষ প্রতিভা সিং, কাস্টম অফিসার দেবনাথ দে, মহদীপুর সি এন্ড এফ এজেন্ট ওয়েলফেয়ার অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি প্রসেনজিৎ ঘোষ, সম্পাদক ভূপতি মন্ডল, হৃদয় ঘোষ সহ অন্যান্যরা। জানা যায় জেলা জুড়ে চলা রক্ত সংকট মোকাবিলায় বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী স্বর্গীয় রামচন্দ্র ঘোষের স্মৃতি স্মরণে মহদীপুর সি এন্ড এফ এজেন্ট ওয়েলফেয়ার অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের উদ্যোগে প্রতিবছরই এই রক্তদান শিবিরের আয়োজন করা থাকে। তারই অঙ্গ হিসাবে এদিনের রক্তদান শিবির বলে জানান সংগঠনের সভাপতি প্রসেনজিৎ ঘোষ। তিনি আরো জানান রক্তদাতাদের হাতে সার্টিফিকেটের পাশাপাশি পরিবেশের ভারসাম্য রক্ষার্থে একটি করে গাছও তুলে দেওয়া হয়। জানা যায় এদিন প্রদীপ প্রজ্জ্বলন এবং স্বর্গীয় রামচন্দ্র ঘোষের প্রতিকৃতিতে মাল্যদান করে রক্তদানের আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করেন উপস্থিত অতিথিরা।

The blood donation camp was organised at the Mahadipur land port on the Indo-Bangladesh border on Thursday morning. It is known that more than 200 blood donors donated blood on this day. It is known that this blood donation camp is organized every year under the initiative of Mahadipur C&F Agent Welfare Association in memory of eminent social worker Late Ramchandra Ghosh to deal with the blood crisis across the district. As a part of this, the blood donation camp of the day is said by the president of the organization Prasenjit Ghosh. He added that along with the certificate, a tree is also handed over to the blood donors to maintain the balance of the environment. It is known that on this day, the guests present formally inaugurated the blood donation by lighting the lamp and garlanding the portrait of the late Ramachandra Ghosh.
