ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ সাধারণ মানুষের মধ্যে বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা পৌঁছে দিতে উত্তর ২৪ পরগণার সন্দেশখালী ব্লকের হাটগাছি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের কানমারী বাজারে পুজোর আগেই চালু হচ্ছে স্বামী প্রণবানন্দ হেলথ কেয়ার ও ডায়াগনস্টিক সেন্টার। ভারত সেবাশ্রম সঙ্ঘের উদ্যোগে ঐ এলাকায় প্রায় কুড়িবছর ধরে আসপাসের ১৮টি গ্রামে ভ্রাম্যমান স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবা চলছে। এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত হচ্ছে এই হেলথ কেয়ার ও ডায়াগনস্টিক সেন্টার। আজ সেন্টারের শিলান্যাস করেন সঙ্ঘের সন্নাসীরা। যেখানে স্বল্প মূল্যে স্বাস্থ্য সম্পর্কিত যাবতীয় পরীক্ষা করা হবে ও বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসক দ্বারা চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা দেওয়া হবে। এর পাশাপাশি আজ নবনির্মিত প্রণবানন্দ বিদ্যামন্দিরের দ্বারদোঘাটন হয়। সুন্দরবনে সাধারণের জন্য একটি গেষ্ট হাউস নির্মানেরও সুচনা হয়। পাশাপাশি বৃক্ষরোপনের মাধ্যমে একদিকে সুন্দরবন এলাকার জীববৈচিত্র্য রক্ষা করা, অন্যদিকে এ রাজ্যের সুন্দরবনকে সুন্দর উপবন করে গড়ে তোলার পরিকল্পনা নিয়েছে ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘ। তাদের উদ্যোগে আমফানের ঝড়ের পর সুন্দরবন এলাকায় দু’লক্ষের বেশি নারকেল গাছ বসানো হয়েছে। এবার বন মহোৎসব উপলক্ষে আরো ২৫ হাজার ফলের গাছ বসানোর কাজ শুরু করলো ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘ। রবীন্দ্র সরোবর ফ্রেন্ডস ফোরামের সহযোগিতায় আজ ২৫০০০ আম, জাম, কাঁঠাল, পেয়ারা, লেবু, চালতা সহ বিভিন্ন গাছ সুন্দরবনের এলাকার বিভিন্ন ক্লাব ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠনের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয়। সঙ্ঘের প্রধান সম্পাদক স্বামী বিশ্বাত্মানন্দ মহারাজ বলেন, এই ২৫০০০ গাছ ১৫ দিনের মধ্যে সুন্দরবনের বিভিন্ন এলাকায় বসানো হবে। এর পাশাপাশি সেই কাজ শেষ হলে বিগত এক বছরে রবীন্দ্র সরোবর ফ্রেন্ডস ফোরামের সহযোগিতায় আরো লক্ষাধিক ফলের গাছ বসানোর পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছে। এদিনের অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন কলকাতা পুরসভার মেয়র পারিষদ বৈশ্বানর চট্টোপাধ্যায় সহ বহু বিশিষ্ট মানুষ।
Inderjit Aich: Swami Pranabananda Health Care and Diagnostic Centre is being opened ahead of the puja at Kanmari Bazar in Hatgarhi gram panchayat of Sandeshkhali block of North 24 Parganas to provide free medical services to the general public. Under the initiative of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, mobile health services have been running in 18 villages of Aspas for almost 20 years in the area. Associated with this is the Health Care and Diagnostic Center. Today, the foundation stone of the centre was laid by the sangh’s sannyasis. Where all health related tests will be done at a low cost and medical services will be provided by specialist doctors. Along with this, today the newly built Pranabananda Vidyamandir is inaugurated. The construction of a guest house for the general public in the Sundarbans is also proposed. Besides, on the one hand, to protect the biodiversity of the Sundarbans region through tree plantation, on the other hand, the Bharat Sevashram Sangha has planned to make the Sundarbans a beautiful suburb of the state. On their initiative, more than two lakh coconut trees have been planted in the Sundarbans area after the cyclone of Amfan. On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, bharat sevashram sangha has started the work of planting 25,000 more fruit trees. In collaboration with Rabindra Sarobar Friends Forum, 25,000 mangoes, jam, jackfruit, guava, lemon, chalta and various trees were handed over to various clubs and voluntary organisations in the Sundarbans area today. Swami Vishwatmananda Maharaj, the sangh’s chief secretary, said these 25,000 trees will be planted in different parts of the Sundarbans within 15 days. Apart from this, once the work is completed, it has been planned to plant more than one lakh fruit trees in collaboration with The Rabindra Sarobar Friends Forum in the last one year. The event was attended by many eminent people including Kolkata Municipal Corporation Mayor Parshad Baishabnar Chattopadhyay.
