গোপাল বিশ্বাস, নদীয়া :- তিন দিনের ছোট্ট এক রত্তি ফুটফুটে দুধের শিশু গতকাল সকাল থেকে দুপুর পর্যন্ত কেঁদে চলেছে , হাই স্পীড ফ্যানের আওয়াজ, পাশাপাশি ঘরে নানান কোলাহলে তা খেয়াল করেননি কেউ। ঘরের দরজায় বাইরে থেকে তালা বন্ধ ১০ ঘন্টা যাবৎ। চরম অমানবিক নির্মম ঘটনাটি ঘটে শান্তিপুর যৌনপল্লীতে। উত্তর ২৪ পরগনার থেকে আগত নাজমা খাতুন, যৌনপল্লীর যৌনকর্মী। এলাকা সূত্রে জানা যায় অতিতেও তার দুটি ছেলেকে, নাবালক অবস্থায় বোম্বে দিল্লিতে কাজে পাঠিয়েছেন রোজগারের উদ্দেশ্যে, বাকি দুজনকেও অর্থের বিনিময়ে নিঃসন্তান দম্পতিদের কাছে বিক্রি করে দিয়েছেন।

এরপর নদিয়া জেলা চাইল্ড লাইন রাত দুটো নাগাদ উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে যায় ঐ শিশুটিকে। চাইল্ড লাইনের প্রতিনিধি জানান, রানাঘাটে রেখে প্রতিপালন করা হবে। অন্যদিকে তার মায়ের সাথে পুনরায় যোগাযোগের চেষ্টা করা হবে।
