মালদাঃ সারা বিশ্বের পাশাপাশি মালদা জেলাতেও সাড়ম্বরে পালিত হলো পবিত্র মহরম উৎসব। মঙ্গলবার সকাল থেকেই মহরম উৎসবে মেতে ওঠেন মালদা জেলা ইংলিশ বাজার ব্লগের সাতটারি গ্রামের মুসলীম সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষজন। এদিন সকালে তাজিয়া নিয়ে লাঠি খেলার মধ্য দিয়ে শোভাযাত্রা করে সারা গ্রাম পরিক্রমা করেন গ্রামবাসীরা। জানা যায় তাজিয়ার সামনে মাথায় জল নেওয়ার জন্য জল নিয়ে বসে থাকেন বিভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষজন। গ্রামের প্রায় প্রত্যেক পাড়া থেকে এই শোভাযাত্রা বের হয়। ঢোল আতশবাজিতে মেতে ওঠেন গ্রামের যুবরা।
Malda: Along with the whole world, the holy Muharram festival was celebrated in Malda district as well. Since Tuesday morning, the Muslim community of Sattari village of Malda district’s English Bazar blog has been celebrating Muharram. In the morning, the villagers marched around the village with tazia and played sticks. It is known that people of different communities sit in front of Tazia with water to take water on their heads. This procession comes out from almost every neighborhood of the village. The youth of the village were filled with drums and fireworks.
