রাজেন্দ্র নাথ দত্ত:মুর্শিদাবাদ : এ বছর স্বাধীনতার ৭৫ তম বছর পূর্ণ হতে চলেছে । এ উপলক্ষে সারা দেশ জুড়ে একাধিক কর্মসূচি গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে বিভিন্ন মহল থেকে। স্বাধীনতার ৭৫ বছর পূর্তিতে অভিনব উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করল মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার এক বেসরকারি কম্পিউটার শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান। জিয়াগঞ্জে স্বাধীনতা দিবস উপলক্ষে ৭৫০ মিটারের জাতীয় পতাকা তৈরি করা হচ্ছে। যা নিয়ে শোভাযাত্রা করবে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা। বর্তমানে দিনরাত এক করে চলছে জাতীয় পতাকা তৈরির শেষ মুহূর্তের প্রস্তুতি।
কারিগররা অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম করে ৭৫০ মিটার মাপ বিশিষ্ট এই জাতীয় পতাকা বানানোর কাজ করছেন। স্বাধীনতা দিবসের সকালে জিয়াগঞ্জের ওই বেসরকারি কম্পিউটার সেন্টার কর্তৃপক্ষ ও ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এই জাতীয় পতাকা নিয়ে জিয়াগঞ্জ শহর পরিক্রমা করবেন। জিয়াগঞ্জ-আজিমগঞ্জের অন্যান্য প্রতিষ্ঠানের ছাত্রছাত্রীরাও অংশ গ্রহণ করবেন এই পদযাত্রায়। এই বছরই প্রথম নয়, এর আগেও দু’বছর বিশাল আকৃতির জাতীয় পতাকা তৈরি করে জিয়াগঞ্জ শহর পরিক্রমা করা হয়েছিল।
ভাগীরথী নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত জিয়াগঞ্জ জেলার প্রাচীন শহর হলেও শিক্ষা ও সংস্কৃতি চর্চায় যথেষ্ট এগিয়ে। জানা গিয়েছে, এর আগেও স্বাধীনতা উদযাপনে ২০১৮ সালে ৪০০ মিটার ও ২০১৯ সালে ৫০০ মিটারের জাতীয় পতাকা নিয়ে শহর পরিক্রমা করা হয়েছিল। তবে কোভিড মহামারি পরিস্থিতির কারণে দু’বছর এই আয়োজন হয়নি। এ বছর ৭৫ তম স্বাধীনতা দিবস উপলক্ষে এই বিশাল জাতীয় পতাকা নিয়ে শহর পরিক্রমা করবেন ছাত্রছাত্রীরা ।
হাতে আর মাত্র কয়েকটা দিন । আপাতত দিনরাত পরিশ্রম করে জাতীয় পতাকা তৈরি করতে ব্যস্ত কারিগররা। ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরাও উন্মুখ দেশের জাতীয় পতাকা নিয়ে স্বাধীনতা দিবসের সকালে পদযাত্রায় অংশ নিতে। কোভিড মহামারি পরিস্থিতির পর এবছর ধীরেধীরে স্বাভাবিক ছন্দে ফিরেছে জীবনযাপন। ব্যবসায়ীরা মন্দাকাটিয়ে আসার আলো দেখতে শুরু করেছে।এবছর স্বাধীনতা দিবসের ৭৫ তম বর্ষ।স্বাধীনতা দিবসের আগে মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার বিভিন্ন জায়গায় চলছে জাতীয় পতাকা বিক্রি। গত দুই বছরের মন্দা কাটিয়ে এবছর ব্যাপকভাবে জাতীয় পতাকা বিক্রি করা হচ্ছে। এমনকি, বাজারে চাহিদা বেড়েছে জাতীয় পতাকার।ফলে লাভের মুখ দেখছেন বিক্রেতারা। মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার সদর শহর জলঙ্গী থেকে বড়ঞা, সালার থেকে ফরাক্কা সর্বত্র একচিত্র। ব্যাপক ভাবে বিক্রি বেড়েছে জাতীয় পতাকা বিক্রির।এবছর ভারতীয় পোস্ট অফিসগুলি থেকেও জাতীয় পতাকা বিক্রি করা হচ্ছে। বহরমপুর সহ জেলার একাধিক পোস্ট অফিস গুলি থেকে কয়েক হাজার জাতীয় পতাকা বিক্রি করা হচ্ছে ।

A private computer education institute in Murshidabad district has taken a unique initiative to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence. A 750-meter national flag is being prepared on the occasion of Independence Day in Ziaganj. Students will march with it. At present, preparations are going on day and night for the last moment of making the national flag.
The artisans are working tirelessly to make this national flag of 750 meters size. On the morning of The Independence Day, the authorities and students of the private computer center in Ziaganj will visit The City of Ziaganj with this national flag. Students of other institutions of Ziaganj-Azimganj will also take part in the march. This is not the first time this year, the city of Jiaganj was circumambulated for two years by making a huge national flag.
Although the ancient city of Jiaganj district located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, it is quite advanced in education and cultural practice. Earlier, the city was toured with the national flag of 400 meters in 2018 and 500 meters in 2019 to celebrate independence. However, due to the Covid epidemic situation, this event was not held for two years. On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day this year, the students will tour the city with this huge national flag. Just a few more days in hand. For now, the artisans are busy making the national flag by working day and night. Students are also eager to take part in the march on the morning of Independence Day with the country’s national flag. After the Covid pandemic situation, life has gradually returned to normalcy this year. Traders are beginning to see the light of the recession. This year marks the 75th anniversary of Independence Day. Ahead of Independence Day, the sale of the national flag is going on in different parts of Murshidabad district. After the recession of the last two years, the national flag is being sold extensively this year. Even the demand for the national flag has increased in the market. As a result, sellers are seeing profits. From Jalangi to Baraiya, the headquarters city of Murshidabad district, from Salar to Farakka, there is a picture everywhere. The sale of the national flag has increased drastically. The national flag is also being sold from Indian post offices this year. Thousands of national flags are being sold from multiple post offices in the district including Berhampur.
