মালদা: প্লাস্টিক ব্যবহারের বিধি নিষেধ নিয়ে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠকের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে এবারে বিভিন্ন ব্যবসায়ী সংগঠনগুলিকে লিখিত আকারে জানানো হল মালদা ম্যাংগো মার্চেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের পক্ষ থেকে। উল্লেখ্য বুধবার প্লাস্টিক ব্যবহারের বিধি নিষেধ নিয়ে এক প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয় মালদা কলেজ অডিটোরিয়ামে। রাজ্যের মন্ত্রী, জেলাশাসক থেকে শুরু করে অন্যান্য প্রশাসনিক আধিকারিকরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। উপস্থিত ছিলেন মালদা ম্যাংগো মার্চেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশন সহ বিভিন্ন ব্যবসায়ী সংগঠনের কর্মকর্তারা। এই প্রশাসনিক বৈঠকের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে এবারে প্লাস্টিক ব্যবহারের বিধি নিষেধ নিয়ে ক্ষুদ্র থেকে মাঝারি সমস্ত ব্যবসায়ী সংগঠনকে প্লাস্টিকের ব্যবহার নিয়ে সচেতন করতে লিখিত আকারে জানালেন জেলা ব্যবসায়ী নেতা তথা মালদা ম্যাংগো মার্চেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি উজ্জ্বল সাহা। শুক্রবার রথবাড়ি এলাকায় সাংবাদিকদের মুখোমুখি হয়ে তিনি জানান, প্লাস্টিক ব্যবহারের বিধি নিষেধ নিয়ে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠকের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে এই উদ্যোগ। ইতিমধ্যে গ্রাম-গঞ্জে প্লাস্টিকের ব্যবহার নিয়ে সচেতন করা শুরু হয়েছে। তার পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন ব্যবসায়ী সংগঠনকে লিখিত আকারে জানানো হয়েছে।
