ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ তিনি ছিলেন, তিনি আছেন তিনি থাকবেন আমাদের মধ্যে বেঁচে বহুকাল। তিনি বিখ্যাত নাট্য ব্যক্তিত্ব প্রয়াত ঊষা গাঙ্গুলী। ২০শে আগস্ট, রঙ্গকর্মী স্টুডিও থিয়েটারে উদযাপন হলো প্রতিষ্ঠাতা প্রয়াত ঊষা গাঙ্গুলীর ৭৭তম জন্মদিন। ২০২০ সালে ২৩ এ আগস্ট করোনা আবহে তিনি ইহলোক ত্যাগ করেন। ১৯৭৬ সালে তিনি রঙ্গকর্মী নাট্য দল প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। ঠিক যেমন পছন্দ করতেন ঊষা গাঙ্গুলী, ঠিক তেমন ভাবেই গানে, কবিতায়, সায়ারীতে তাঁর জন্মদিন পালন করলেন রঙ্গকর্মীর সদস্যরা। এইদিন রঙ্গকর্মী স্টাডি গ্রুপ প্রযোজিত নাটক “দিখাওয়ে কি কিমাত” মঞ্চস্থ হয় ঊষা গাঙ্গুলী মঞ্চে। দলের কার্যনির্বাহী সম্পাদক অনিরুদ্ধ সরকারের তত্ত্বাবধানে, গায় দে মাওপাসন্তের ছোটগল্প ‘ দা নেকলেস ‘ অবলম্বনে এর নাট্যরূপ লিখেছেন প্রিয়ানস সঙ্গানেরিয়া এবং নির্দেশনা করেছেন আদিত্য গুপ্তা। এই নাটকের মাধ্যমে রঙ্গকর্মী স্টাডি গ্রুপ পুনরায় সক্রিয় হলো প্রায় ২৫ বছর পর। এই শুভদিনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ঊষা গাঙ্গুলীর পুত্র ও দলের বর্তমান সভাপতি হিরকেন্দু গাঙ্গুলী। উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট আলোক চিত্রকর শঙ্কর সেনগুপ্ত ও আই পি এস সন্দীপ মুখোপাধ্যায়।

On this day, the play “Dikhawe Ki Kimat” produced by Rangakarmi Study Group was staged on Usha Ganguly Stage. Under the supervision of the party’s executive secretary Aniruddha Sarkar, the drama is based on Gaye De Mawpasant’s short story ‘The Necklace’ written by Priyans Sanganeria and directed by Aditya Gupta. Through this play, the Rangakarmi Study Group became active again after almost 25 years. Usha Ganguly’s son and current president of the party Hirkendu Ganguly was present on this auspicious day. Eminent photographer Shankar Sengupta and IPS Sandeep Mukherjee were also present.
