রাজেন্দ্র নাথ দত্ত:মুর্শিদাবাদ : সকালের প্রাতরাশ থেকে বিকেলের জলখাবার, এমনকি দুপুরের আহারেও আগুন লেগেছে গৃহস্থের রান্নাঘরে। কেবল মুড়ির দাম নয়, বেড়েছে রান্নার গুলের দাম, ফলে চায়ের কাপেও চুমুক দিতে গিয়ে বাড়তি পয়সা দিতে হচ্ছে সাধারণ মানুষকে। গ্রামাঞ্চলের প্রধান জ্বালানি গুলের বস্তা ১৭০ টাকা থেকে ২১০ টাকায় পৌঁছে গিয়েছে মাস খানেকের মধ্যে। এই দাবি করছেন চায়ের দোকান থেকে শুরু করে হোটেল মালিকেরাও। এক বস্তায় ২৫ কেজি গুল থাকে বলে দাবি করা হয়, কিন্তু অনেকেরই দাবি, বস্তায় থাকে শেষ পর্যন্ত ২৩-২৪ কেজি। বিশেষ করে ছোট শহর থেকে গঞ্জ বাজারে কয়লা থেকে তৈরি গুল ব্যবহার করা হয় জ্বালানি হিসেবে। জেলার বড় চায়ের দোকানগুলিতেও অনেক ক্ষেত্রে জ্বালানি ভরসা সেই গুল। ডোমকলের তেঁতুলতলা এলাকায় চায়ের দোকান বিশ্বজিৎ সাহার। তাঁর কথায়, ‘‘দীর্ঘ দিন ধরেই চায়ের দাম ছিল পাঁচ টাকা। কিন্তু শেষ পর্যন্ত যে ভাবে জিনিসের দাম বাড়ছে, গুলের দামও বেড়েছে, তাতে আর উপায় নেই। এখন ৬ টাকা করেই বিক্রি করতে হচ্ছে চা।গুলের দাম বাড়ার ফলে মুশকিলে পড়েছেন অনেকে। ব্যবসায়ীদের দাবি, কয়লার দাম, পরিবহণের খরচ অনেক গুণ বেড়ে গিয়েছে। কিন্তু দাম বাড়াতে গেলেই ক্রেতা বিমুখ হচ্ছেন। ফলে বাধ্য হয়েই খুব কম লাভে এখন ব্যবসা করতে হচ্ছে। ডোমকলের গুলের ব্যবসায়ী আনারুল আনসারি বলছেন, গুল তৈরির যাবতীয় উপাদানের দাম বেড়েছে। বেড়েছে পরিবহণ খরচ, কিন্তু আমরা দাম বাড়াতে গেলেই মাথায় হাত পড়ছে ক্রেতাদের। ফলে খুব বেশি দাম আমরা বাড়াতে পারিনি। বস্তায় কুড়ি-পঁচিশ টাকা দাম বাড়িয়েই ক্ষান্ত থাকছে হচ্ছে আমাদের।’’ কিন্তু আদতে বস্তা পিছু দাম চল্লিশ টাকা বেড়েছে বলে দাবি। এর মধ্যে, পাঁউরুটির দাম নিয়েও শুরু হয়েছে তরজা। ৬ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে পাঁউরুটির দাম বাড়ার কথা ঘোষণা করেছিল কয়েকটি বেকারি সংগঠন। কিন্তু পাঁউরুটির দাম বাড়ছে না, সোজাসুজি এ কথা জানিয়েছেন পশ্চিমবঙ্গ বেকারি মালিকদের জয়েন্ট অ্যাকশন কমিটির সম্পাদক বিধায়ক ইদ্রিস আলি। তিনি জানান, গত ৩০শে জানুয়ারি পাঁউরুটির দাম পাউন্ড প্রতি অর্থাৎ প্রতি ৪০০ গ্রামে চার টাকা করে বেড়েছে। অর্থাৎ ২৪ টাকার পাঁউরুটি ২৮ টাকা হয়েছে। কিন্তু সামনেই বেশ কিছু অনুষ্ঠান রয়েছে, তাই পাঁউরুটির দাম বাড়ানো হবে না। তাঁর কথায়, রাজ্যে প্রায় চার হাজার পাঁউরুটির কারখানা রয়েছে, দু’তিনটে বাদ দিয়ে সমস্ত পাঁউরুটির কারখানার মালিকেরা জয়েন্ট অ্যাকশন কমিটির এবং ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল বেকারস কোঅর্ডিনেশন কমিটির সদস্য। তাই তাঁরা পাঁউরুটির দাম না বাড়ালে, দু’তিনটে বেকারি মালিকদের সংগঠনের দাম বাড়ানোর ঘোষণা হাস্যকর। তিনি বলেন,ওদের ঘোষণা, ঘোষণাই থেকে যাবে।’কিন্তু স্থানীয় বেকারিতে তৈরি রুটির দাম বেড়েছে বলেই এলাকার মানুষের দাবি। তবে একটি বেকারির মালিক আনারুল ইসলাম বলছেন,পুরনো দাম ধরে রাখতে গেলে এখন লাভের অঙ্ক কিছুই দেখতে পাচ্ছি না।

We have to increase the price of twenty-five rupees in sacks. But in fact, the price has gone up by Rs 40 per sack. In the meantime, the price of bread has also started. Some bakery organizations had announced to increase the price of bread from September 6. But the price of bread is not increasing, said MLA Idris Ali, secretary of the Joint Action Committee of The West Bengal Bakery Owners. He said that on January 30, the price of bread increased by Tk 4 per pound i.e. every 400 grams. That is, the bread of 24 rupees has become 28 rupees.
