মালদা: ভাদ্র মাসের শুক্লপক্ষের চতুর্থীতে মালদা জেলা জুড়ে মহাসড়ম্বরে পূজিত হলেন সিদ্ধিদাতা গণেশ। গোটা জেলার পাশাপাশি বুধবার সকালে শহরের আমবাজার এলাকায় সবজি ব্যবসায়ী সমিতির পক্ষ থেকে মহা ধুমধামের সাথে গণেশ পূজার আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল। ফিতে কেটে, নারকেল ফাটিয়ে এবং ঢাক বাজিয়ে গণেজ পূজোর উদ্বোধন করেন জেলা ব্যবসায়ী নেতা তথা মালদা ম্যাংগো মার্চেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি উজ্জ্বল সাহা। পূজো শেষে বিশ্ব শান্তির উদ্দেশ্যে এক যজ্ঞের আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল। এই বিষয়ে মালদা ম্যাংগো মার্চেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি উজ্জল সাহা জানান, প্রতি বছরের ন্যায় এবছরও আমবাজার এলাকায় সবজি ব্যবসায়ী সমিতির উদ্যোগে গণেশ পূজার আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল। জেলা জুড়ে ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্য শিল্প কারখানা র আয় উন্নতির লক্ষ্যে ব্যবসায়ীরা গণেশ পুজোর আয়োজন করেছেন। পূজা উপলক্ষে রাত্রে নরনারায়ন সেবা এবং সাতদিন ব্যাপী বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। 
Malda: On the fourth day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadra, Siddhidata Ganesha was worshiped with great pomp across Malda district. Along with the entire district, Ganesh Puja was organized by the Vegetable Traders Association in the Ambazar area of the city on Wednesday morning with great fanfare. District business leader and Malda Mango Merchant Association President Ujjal Saha inaugurated the puja by cutting ribbons, bursting coconuts and playing dhak. At the end of the puja, a yagna was organized for world peace. Ujjal Saha, president of Malda Mango Merchants Association, said, “Like every year, ganesh puja was organized at the initiative of vegetable traders association in Ambazar area. Traders have organised Ganesh Puja to improve the income of businesses and industries across the district. On the occasion of the puja, narnarayan seva and seven-day long programs have been organized.
