কলকাতাঃ অখিল ভারতীয় তেরাপন্থ যুবক পরিষদের পক্ষ ১৪ই সেপ্টেম্বর কলকাতা প্রেসক্লাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়ার সাংবাদিক বৈঠকে জানানো হয় আগামী ১৭ ই সেপ্টেম্বর এক মেঘা ব্লাড ডোনেশন ড্রাইভের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। দেশে প্রায় ২০০০টি ক্যাম্প ও বাংলার বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে ২০০রও বেশি ক্যাম্পের আয়োজন করা হবে। এই বৈঠকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সংস্থার জয়েন্ট সেক্রেটারি অনন্ত বাগরেচা, অভিনেত্রী কোয়েল মল্লিক, আরজে প্রবীণ, সুনীল দুর্গার, অমিতাভ দশানি সহ অন্যান্যরা। 
সংস্থার পক্ষ থেকে এও জানানো হয় 2014 সালের ব্লাড ডোনেশন ক্যাম্পে এক লক্ষ ২ শত বারো ইউনিট ব্লাড কালেক্ট হওয়ার জন্য গিনিস বুক অফ ওয়ার্ল্ড রেকর্ডের এরা অধিকারী হয়। এবং এই বছর প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ইউনিট ব্লাড কালেক্ট করা তাদের লক্ষ্য। কভিডের পর দেশ জুড়ে রক্তের চাহিদা মেটাতেই তাদের এরূপ প্রয়াস এবং এই সম্পর্কে বিশদ জানতে MBDD.in তাদের ওয়েবসাইট থেকে তথ্য সংগ্রহ করা যাবে।

It was also informed by the organization that in the blood donation camp of 2014, they got the Guinness Book of World Record for collecting 1 lakh 2 hundred and twelve units of blood. And this year they aim to collect around 2 lakh units of blood.
