গোপাল বিশ্বাস,নদীয়া :- সামনেই দুর্গাপুজো, দুর্গাপুজোর দিন ১৫ পরেই শুরু হবে দীপাবলি, গোটা দেশে আলো ও বাজির চাহিদা রয়েছে বর্তমানে। তবে শব্দ বাজির ব্যবহার সম্পূর্ণ রূপে বন্ধ করা যাচ্ছে না এখনও। সরকার থেকে বারবার নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করলেও গোপনে শব্দবাজির ব্যবহার ও পাচার হয়ে যাচ্ছে ক্রমাগত।
সূত্রের খবর ট্রাক বোঝাই বিপুল পরিমাণে শব্দবাজি পাচার করা হচ্ছিল ভিন রাজ্য আসামে। নিষিদ্ধ শব্দবাজি গুলি বারাসাত থেকে ট্রাক বোঝাই করে নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছিল আসামে। গোপন সূত্রে খবর পায় তাহেরপুর থানার পুলিশ। এরপরেই পুলিশ অভিযান চালিয়ে বাদকুল্লা থেকে ওই শব্দবাজি ভর্তি ট্রাকটিকে আটক করে। এরপর ট্রাকে তল্লাশি চালিয়ে দেখা যায় ট্রাকের মধ্যে ভর্তি ১৫৬০ কিলো নিষিদ্ধ শব্দবাজি। এরপরেই গ্রেফতার করা হয় গাড়ির চালককে। পাশাপাশি পুলিশ তদন্ত শুরু করেছে এই ঘটনায় কারা জড়িত রয়েছে।
প্রসঙ্গত, বিভিন্ন উৎসব পূজা-পার্বনে বৈদ্যুতিক আলো প্রদীপ এর পাশাপাশি বিপুল পরিমাণে বাজি ফাটানো হয়। যার কারণে শব্দ দূষণের পাশাপাশি বিপুল পরিমাণে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয় পরিবেশের। লাগামহীন শব্দবাজি ফাটানোর ফলে রাস্তার পশু পাখি থেকে শুরু করে হার্টের রোগীর মারাত্মকভাবে ক্ষতির সম্ভাবনা দেখা যায়। সেই কারণে সরকার থেকে নিষিদ্ধ করা হয়েছে এই সমস্ত। তবু একশ্রেণীর মানুষ গোপনে এই শব্দবাজি বানানো এবং তার ব্যবহার করে আসছে ক্রমাগত। যদিও প্রশাসন তৎপরতার সাথে পুজোর আগে বিভিন্ন বাজির দোকানে অভিযান চালিয়ে একাধিক নিষিদ্ধ বাজি আটক করেন। তবুও রক্ষা যাচ্ছেনা নিষিদ্ধ শব্দ বাজির ব্যবহার। সব মিলিয়ে পুলিশের এ হেন উদ্যোগে খুশি সকলেই।
