মালদাঃ  সাপের কামড়ে রোগের মৃত্যুকে ঘিরে চাঞ্চল মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতাল। পরিবারের লোকের এখন অন্ধবিশ্বাস ঝাড়ফুঁক করলে তাদের রোগী বেঁচে যাবে। মেডিকেল কলেজের অনুমতি ছাড়াই জোরপূর্বক রোগীকে বাড়ি নিয়ে যাওয়ার যাওয়ার পথে হাসপাতালের কর্মী ও রোগীর আত্মীয়র মধ্যে হাতাহাতিতে জড়িয়ে পড়ে। হাসপাতালে ছুটে আছে বিশাল পুলিশ বাহিনী। পরিবারের লোকেরা রোগীকে নিয়ে বাড়িতে পলাতক ঝাড়ফুঁকের জন্য। ঘটনা পুরাতন মালদা চর কাদিরপুর এলাকায়। এই ঘটনায় সর্প ভূমি নিতাই হালদার কে ঘটনাস্থল থেকে পুলিশ আটক করে। পুলিশ ও হাসপাতাল কর্মীর অভিযোগ এই নিতাই হালদার পরিবারের লোককে উস্কানি মূলক কথা বলার পরেই পরিবারের লোকেরা উত্তাল হয়ে ওঠে।
