গোপাল বিশ্বাস, নদীয়া :- আজ সকালে স্কুলের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা দেয় একই এলাকার চার ছাত্রী। পথচারীদের কাছ থেকে জানা যায় শান্তিপুর রাধারানী নারী শিক্ষার গার্লস স্কুল এবং দূর্গামনি স্কুলের চার ছাত্রী শান্তিপুর মতিগঞ্জ মোড়ে গেস্ট হাউজের সামনে রাস্তা দিয়ে বিদ্যালয় যাওয়ার সময় এক সিমেন্ট ভর্তি ওভারলোড লড়ি পেছানোর সময় চার ছাত্রীর চলন্ত সাইকেলের উপর উঠে যায় আকস্মিকভাবে। প্রথমে দুটি সাইকেল পিষে দিয়ে পরবর্তীতে, ছাত্রীদের সজোরে ধাক্কা দিলে গুরুতর রকম হয় ওই চার-ছাত্রী। পথচারীরা তড়িঘড়ি ওই চার ছাত্রীকে শান্তিপুর স্টেট জেনারেল হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসার জন্য নিয়ে যায়। যার মধ্যে দুজনের শারীরিক পরিস্থিতি সংকটজনক। খালাসী বিহীন ওভারলোড ওই লড়ি চালকের গাফিলতিকে দায়ী করে এলাকার মানুষ উত্তেজিত হয়ে ওই সিমেন্ট বোঝাই গাড়িটি ভাঙচুর । খবর পেয়ে শান্তিপুর থানার পুলিশ এসে গাড়িটি আটক করে ও ওই গাড়ির ড্রাইভারকেও আটক করে বলে জানা যায়।
Gopal Biswas, Nadia: Four students of the same area left for school this morning. According to passersby, four students of Shantipur Radharani Women’s Education Girls’ School and Durgamani School suddenly climbed on to the moving bicycle of four students while they were going to school through the road in front of the guest house at Shantipur Motiganj intersection. The four students were seriously injured when they first crushed two bicycles and then pushed the students hard. Passersby rushed the four students to Shantipur State General Hospital for treatment. The physical condition of both of them is critical. The people of the area got agitated and vandalized the cement-laden car, blaming the negligence of the lorry driver. On receiving the information, the shantipur police station came and seized the car and arrested the driver of the vehicle.
