বাড়ির সামনে অবৈধভাবে জুয়োর ঠেকের প্রতিবাদ করায়, শ্লীলতাহানি ও বাড়ি ভাংচুর দূস্কৃতিদের

গোপাল বিশ্বাস, নদীয়া-ঃ ফের নদীয়ায় অসামাজিক কাজের প্রতিবাদ করায় দূস্কৃতিদের তান্ডবের শিকার প্রতিবাদী। বাড়ির সামনে অবৈধ ভাবে জুয়োর ঠেক ও মদ্যপানের প্রতিবাদ করায় প্রতিবাদীর বাড়ি ভাংচুর ও মহিলাদের শ্লীলতাহানির অভিযোগ এলকার কিছু দূস্কৃতিদের বিরুদ্ধে। এমনি চাঞ্চল্যকর ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে নদীয়ার শান্তিপুর পৌরসভা ১৭ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের ডাবরে পাড়া এলাকায়। অভিযোগ বাড়ির সামনে ওই এলাকারই কয়েকজন যুবক প্রায় নিত্যদিন জুয়ার আসর বসায়। শুধু তাই নয় চলে মদ্যপান এবং অশ্লীল ভাষায় গালিগালাজ। গত রাতে মূলত তার প্রতিবাদ করাতেই এক মহিলাকে মারধরের অভিযোগ ওঠে। এরপরে বাড়িতে ঢুকে চালানো হয় ভাঙচুর। পাথর ছুঁড়ে বাড়ির টালি ভেঙে দেওয়া হয়। এই প্রথম নয় এর আগেও প্রতিবাদ করতে গেলে ওই এলাকার একাধিক ব্যক্তিকে মারধর করে অভিযুক্ত ওই যুবক। অবশেষে এদিন ওই অভিযুক্তর বিরুদ্ধে শান্তিপুর থানায় একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করে এলাকাবাসী। চরম আতঙ্কে দিন কাটাচ্ছে ওই পরিবার। এলাকাবাসী চাইছেন যত দ্রুত সম্ভব আইনের মাধ্যমে ওই অভিযুক্তকে উপযুক্ত শাস্তি দেওয়া হোক। অভিযোগ পেয়ে ঘটনার তদন্তে শান্তিপুর থানার পুলিশ প্রশাসন।
