নদীয়া : গোপাল বিশ্বাস : রং নাম্বারে ফোন যাওয়াকেকে কেন্দ্র করে তীব্র উত্তেজনা নবদ্বীপের চর স্বরুপগঞ্জ এলাকায় , মৃত্যু এক । জানা যায় গতকাল সন্ধ্যের সময় চর স্বরূপগঞ্জের সুকান্ত পল্লী এলাকার অমিত দেবনাথ নামে বচর ২৬-এর এক যুবকের ফোন ভুলবশত একটি নাম্বারে চলে যায়। তারপরে শুরু হয় উত্তেজনা। ঐ এলাকার তৃণমূলের নেতা সঞ্জীব সমাদ্দার ওরফে কালু ,অমিত দেবনাথ নামে ব্যক্তিকে ফোন করে ডেকে নিয়ে যায় এলাকার তৃণমূল পার্টি অফিসের সামনে, সেখানে বেধড়ক মারা হয় ঐ ছেলেটিকে। ফের আজ সকালে আবারো তাকে ডাক দিয়ে পার্টি অফিসের সামনে নিয়ে গিয়ে মারধর করা হয় বলে অভিযোগ । সেই অপমানে অমিত দেবনাথ নামে ছেলেটি আজ দুপুরের নিজের ঘরে গলায় ফাঁস দিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করে । তারপর তার দেহটি বাড়ির লোক নামিয়ে মহেশগঞ্জ গ্রামিন হাসপাতালে নিয়ে গেলে সেখানে চিকিৎসারত ডাক্তাররা মৃত বলে ঘোষণা করে। পরে এলাকার বাসিন্দারা পুলিশকে জানালে পুলিশের ঘটনাস্থলে যেতে আড়াই ঘন্টা দেরি হয় বলে অভিযোগ । সেই পুলিশকে দেখা যায় দুর্গাপুজো সমন্বয় সভায় সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানে আসন জুড়ে বসে থাকতে ।
অন্যদিকে অভিযুক্ত সঞ্জীব সমাদ্দারের বাড়িতে ক্ষিপ্ত জনতা ভাঙচুর করে। এলাকাবাসীদের অভিযোগ দীর্ঘদিন ধরে এই সঞ্জীব সমাদ্দার তার দলবল নিয়ে এই এলাকায় দুষ্কৃতীরাজ চালায় । ভয়ে এলাকাবাসীরা কাউকে কিছু বলতে পারে না। মাথায় তৃণমূলের নেতাদের হাত থাকায় মুখ খুলতে ভয় পায় স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা। ওই সঞ্জীব সমাদ্দারের ভয়ে ঐ এলাকার বাসিন্দারা বাড়িতে একা মহিলা রাখতে ভয় পায় । এলাকা বাসীর আরও অভিযোগ দ্বিতীয় বার সন্ধ্যার পর পুলিশ এলাকায় যায় ও অভিযুক্তদের বাড়ি যায়, তার পর অভিযুক্ত বাড়ি থেকে পালিয়ে যায়, এই খবর চাউড় হতেই এলাকবাসী পুলিশকে ঘিরে বিক্ষোভ দেখায়, তাদের দাবী অভিযুক্ত ব্যাক্তি তৃণমূল নেতা হওয়ায় পুলিশ তাকে বাড়ি থেকে পালিয়ে যেতে সহায়তা করেছে। এখনো ঘটনাস্থলে চরম উত্তেজনা

১৯ শে সেপ্টেম্বর ,নবদ্বীপ। সকালে ওই মৃত ব্যক্তির বাড়িতে ভারতীয় জনতা পার্টির এক প্রতিনিধি দল ওই পরিবারের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে যায়। বিজেপি নেতৃত্বরা জানায় মৃত পরিবারের পাশে থেকে সব রকম সাহায্য করবে তারা। পাশাপাশি স্থানীয় ও পরিবারের দাবী গতকাল নবদ্বীপ থানায় লিখিত অভিযোগ করে অভিযুক্ত স্থানীয় তৃণমূল নেতা সহ মোট চার জনের বিরুদ্ধে।পুলিশ গতকাল রাতেই সঞ্জিত সমাদ্দার নামে এক অভিযুক্তকে গ্রেপ্তার করে, আজ নবদ্বীপ আদালতে পাঠায়। কিন্তু বাকি অভিযুক্তদের গ্রেপ্তার ও শাস্তির দাবীতে স্থানীয়রা এদিন বেলা আনুমানিক সারে বারোটা নাগাদ নবদ্বীপ স্বরুপগঞ্জ ঘাট থেকে কৃষ্ণনগরের যাবার রাজ্য সড়কে কলাতলা মোড় এলাকায় পথ অবরোধ করে। স্থানীয়দের পথ অবরোধে সামিল হয় বিজেপি নেতৃত্বরাও। খবর পেয়ে এই ঘটনায় পুলিশ প্রশাসনের আধিকারিক, বিশাল পুলিশ বাহিনী নিয়ে এলাকায় গেলে পুলিশের সাথে এলাকাবাসীদের বচসা শুরু হয়। পুলিশকে ঘিরে শুরু হয় উত্তেজনা। পাশাপাশি স্থানীয়রা বাকী অভিযুক্তদের অবিলম্বে গ্রেফ্তার করার দাবী তোলে, ও লাগাতার পুলিশের সাথে বচসায় জড়িয়ে পরে স্থানীয় দের পাশাপাশি বিজেপি নেতৃত্বরা। প্রায় দেড় ঘন্টা চলে পথ অবরোধ। পরে পুলিশের আশ্বাসে পথ অবরোধ তোলে অবরোধ কারীরা।
September 19, Nabadwip. In the morning, a bharatiya janata party delegation went to meet the family at the house of the deceased. The BJP leadership said they would extend all possible help to the family of the deceased. Besides, the locals and the family claimed that a written complaint was lodged with the Nabadwip police station yesterday against a total of four people, including the local TRINAMOOL leader. The police arrested one of the accused, Sanjit Samaddar, last night and sent him to the Nabadwip court today. However, locals blocked the road from Nabadwip Swarupganj ghat to Krishnanagar at around 12:30 pm, demanding the arrest and punishment of the remaining accused. The BJP leaders also joined the road blockade by the locals. On receiving the news, officials of the police administration, along with a large police force, went to the area and started arguing with the police and the locals. Tension started around the police. The locals also demanded immediate arrest of the remaining accused, and the local people as well as the BJP leadership got into a verbal duel with the police. The road was blocked for about an hour and a half. Later, the protesters blocked the road on the assurance of the police.
