তমলুক, ২১ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২২; সম্প্রতি পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলার হলদিয়ায় জীবনানন্দ দাশ কলোনিতে ৯ সেপ্টেম্বর দুই পরিচারিকার নামে মিথ্যা অভিযোগে তাদের জেল খাটানো হয়। পরে অভিযোগ সাপেক্ষে প্রমাণ না মেলায় তাদের মুক্তি দিতে বাধ্য হয় পুলিশ। এই দুই পরিচারিকাকে জেল খাটানো ও সম্মানহানির প্রতিবাদে আজ সারা রাজ্যের সাথে সাথে পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলার তমলুকের মানিকতলায় মাতঙ্গিনী হাজরা মূর্তির পাদদেশে বিক্ষোভ ও মিছিল সংগঠিত হয়,
সারা বাংলা পরিচারিকা সমিতির উদ্যোগে। নেতৃত্ব দেন জেলা নেত্রী অসীমা পাহাড়ি, রীতা ওঝা, শ্যামলী মান্না, সন্ধ্যা ভূঁইয়া, রমা দাস, অঞ্জলি মান্না শ্রাবন্তী মাজী, প্রমূখ।
পরিচালিকা সমিতির জেলা নেত্রী অসীমা পাহাড়ী বলেন, এমনিতেই পরিচারিকা না হলে বাবুদের ভোর থেকে রাত কাটে না , অথচ এদের অত্যন্ত হীন চোখে দেখে সমাজ। যা অত্যন্ত অপমানজনক। সম্প্রতি হলদিয়ায় দুই পরিচারিকাকে মিথ্যা অভিযোগে যেভাবে গ্রেফতার করে জেল খাটানো হলো তা অত্যন্ত নিন্দনীয় এবং অপমানজনক ও সম্মানহানিকর ।আমরা এই ঘটনা তদন্ত সাপেক্ষে প্রকৃত দোষীদের দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তির দাবি করছি। এবং যারা এই মিথ্যা অভিযোগ করেছেন তাদেরও শাস্তির দাবি জানাই।
