শুভ ঘোষের রিপোর্টঃ শ্রীরামপুর অল ইন্ডিয়া ন্যাশনাল ব্যাংক অফিসার্স ফেডারেশনের পক্ষ থেকে সকল ব্যাংক কর্মীদের নিয়ে সভার আয়োজন করা। ব্যাংক বেসরকারি করণের বিরোধিতায় এবং ব্যাংকের শূন্য পদে স্থায়ী কর্মীর চাকরির দাবিতে সংস্থার সর্বভারতীয় সাধারণ সম্পাদক সঞ্জয় দাসের নেতৃত্বে ও অন্যান্য সদস্য অভিজিৎ মন্ডল, শুভজিত চক্রবর্তী, অমিত দত্ত, দেবাশীষ মন্ডল সহযোগিতায় শ্রীরামপুরে গত ২১ সেপ্টেম্বর এক সাংবাদিক বৈঠকের আয়োজন করা হয়। আগামী দিনে ব্যাংক বেসরকারিকরণ হলে জনসাধারণ কতটা সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হবে সেই তথ্য সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে তুলে ধরতেই তাদের এই প্রচেষ্টা।
The Serampore All India National Bank Officers’ Federation organized a meeting with all the bank employees. On September 21, a press conference was organized in Serampore under the leadership of Sanjay Das, all-India general secretary of the bank and in collaboration with other members Avijit Mondal, Shubhajit Chakraborty, Amit Dutta, Debashish Mandal, opposing the privatization of the bank and demanding the job of permanent employees in the vacant posts of the bank. Their effort is to present to the general public how much problems the public will face if the banks are privatized in the coming days.
