ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ কোলকাতা (২৫ সেপ্টেম্বর ‘২২):- মহালয়ার পুণ্য তিথিতে প্রয়াত সায়ন্তনী অধিকারী স্মরণে শতাধিক অন্ধ ব্যক্তির হাতে পুজোর নতুন পোশাক, উপাদেয় খাদ্য ও জুতো তুলে দিল ‘সায়ন্তনী অধিকারী ফাউণ্ডেশন’। ‘রামকৃষ্ণ মন্দির বীরশিবপুর’-এর আয়োজনে কোলকাতার হেদুয়া পার্কে ‘কোলকাতা পৌরনিগম’-এর ২৭ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের পৌরমাতা মীনাক্ষী গুপ্তা এবং ‘হোলি চাইল্ড ইন্সটিটিউট’-এর অধ্যক্ষা সিস্টার রোশনী সহ একাধিক বিশিষ্ট অতিথিদের উপস্থিতিতে এই অনুষ্ঠান সম্পন্ন হয়। বলে রাখা ভালো ‘করোনা অতিমারী’-র সময় ২৯ জুলাই ২০২০ সায়ন্তনী অধিকারী মাত্র ২৩ বছর বয়সে না ফেরার দেশে চলে যায়।
অনুষ্ঠান চলাকালীন সাংবাদিকদের সাথে কথা বলতে গিয়ে, সায়ন্তনী-র বাবা তথা ‘সায়ন্তনী অধিকারী ফাউণ্ডেশন’-এর সভাপতি বিদ্যুৎবরণ অধিকারী জানান, “মেয়ের স্মৃতিকে অমর করে রাখার জন্যে আমাদের এই প্রয়াস।” অপরদিকে সায়ন্তনী-র মা তথা ফাউণ্ডেশন-এর সহাধ্যক্ষা সুদক্ষিণা অধিকারী অশ্রুসিক্ত নয়নে জানিয়েছেন, “রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে আগত ১০০ জন অন্ধ ব্যক্তি সহ আরো ২০ জনের হাতে আজ পুজোর নতুন পোশাক, খাদ্য ও জুতো তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে।”
Kolkata, September 25, 2019 (BSS) – The ‘Sayantani Adhikari Foundation’ has handed over new puja clothes, food and shoes to more than 100 blind people in memory of the late Sayantani Adhikari on the punya tithi of Mahalaya. Organised by ‘Ramakrishna Mandir Birshivpur’, the event was held at Hedua Park in Kolkata in the presence of several dignitaries including Meenakshi Gupta, Municipal Mother of Ward No. 27 of ‘Kolkata Municipal Corporation’ and Sister Roshni, Principal of ‘Holy Child Institute’. It is good to say that during the ‘Corona epidemic’, on July 29, 2020, Sayantani Adhikari left the country without returning at the age of just 23.
Speaking to reporters during the event, Bidyut Baran Adhikari, father of Sayantani and president of ‘Sayantani Adhikari Foundation’, said, “This is our effort to keep the memory of our daughter immortal. ”
On the other hand, Sayantani’s mother and co-chairman of the foundation, Sudakshina Adhikari, said in a tearful Nayane, “New puja clothes, food and shoes have been handed over to 20 more people, including 100 blind people from different parts of the state. “
