ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ শ্যামনগর রবীন্দ্রভবনে অনুষ্ঠিত হল ইছাপুর আলেয়ার ২২তম নাট্যোৎসব, ভারত নাট্য রঙ্গোলি ৬- ‘মননে শুভেন্দু’। সম্প্রতি কর্ণধার বিয়োগ ঘটায় আলেয়া তাদের এই গোটা নাট্যোৎসবটি উৎসর্গ করেছে শুভেন্দু মজুমদারকে। এবং রবীন্দ্রভবনের প্রবেশদ্বার থেকে ভেতরের প্রেক্ষাগৃহ পর্যন্ত সাজানো হয়েছে তাদের কর্ণধারের ছবি দিয়েই। এই পুরো সাজসজ্জাই সম্পন্ন করেছে আলেয়ার যুব বিভাগ। এমনকী শুভেন্দু মজুমদারের উদ্দেশ্যে একদম প্রথম সারির একটি আসনও সংরক্ষণ করা হয়।
উদ্বোধনী সংগীতের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা করে আলেয়ার শিশু ও তরুণ বিভাগ। এরপর প্রদীপ প্রজ্জ্বলন করেন বাংলা থিয়েটারের প্রখ্যাত ব্যক্তিত্ব অসিত বসু। ‘আলেয়া সম্মান’ ও ‘অসীম সম্মান’-এর পাশাপাশি এবছর একটি নতুন সম্মাননা শুরু করে আলেয়া, ‘নাট্যবন্ধু শুভেন্দু সম্মান’। প্রথম বর্ষে এই সম্মাননা জ্ঞাপন করা হয় বাংলা থিয়েটারের উল্লেখযোগ্য অভিনেত্রী ভদ্রা বসুকে। এর পাশাপাশি আলেয়া সম্মানে, সম্মানিত করা হয় বিশিষ্ট নির্দেশক-অভিনেতা অভি সেনগুপ্তকে। এবং ‘অসীম সম্মান’ জ্ঞাপন করা হয় এই সময়ের উল্লেখযোগ্য নাট্ককার মৈনাক সেনগুপ্তকে। এছাড়াও জ্ঞাপক হিসেবে মঞ্চে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আশিস গোস্বামী, দেবাশিস সরকার, অসিত বসু প্রমুখ বিশিষ্টজন। সম্মাননা জ্ঞাপন পর্বের পর উদ্বোধন হয় আলেয়া-র নবতম প্রকাশিত বই ‘ছাপ-ছবি’। এটি নাটককার তীর্থঙ্কর চন্দের পাঁচটি নাটকের সঙ্কলন। নাটককারের উপস্থিতিতে বইটি উদ্বোধন করেন অসিত বসু। একই সঙ্গে প্রকাশিত হয় আলেয়ার এ’বছরের ট্যাবলয়েড। প্রথম পর্বের উদ্বোধন অনুষ্ঠানের পর ছিল কিশোর প্রতিভা বিহান আলোকের সেতারের অনুষ্ঠান। আলেয়ার নাট্যোৎসবের প্রত্যেকদিনের একটি সাধারণ অনুষ্ঠান ছিল সাংবাদিক সংবর্ধনা। প্রথমদিন সেটি অনুষ্ঠিত হয় সেতার-অনুষ্ঠানের পর। সেদিনের প্রাপক ছিলেন নাট্যমুখপত্র থেকে রুদ্ররূপ মুখোপাধ্যায় এবং নয়াদুনিয়ার পক্ষে সুতপেশ চক্রবর্তী। এরপর অনুষ্ঠিত হয় নাট্যোৎসবের প্রথম নাটক, শ্যামনগর নাট্যবিতানের কিশলয় বিভাগের প্রযোজনা, দীপক মিত্রের নির্দেশনায় রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের কবিতা অবলম্বনে রাজা ভট্টাচার্যের নাটক ‘জুতা আবিষ্কার’। একঝাঁক শিশু-কিশোরের উজ্জ্বল উপস্থাপনা তাক্ লাগিয়ে রাখে দর্শককে। নাটক শেষে শ্যামনগর নাট্যবিতান, আলেয়ার প্রবীণতম সদস্য নিতাই চন্দ্র গুপ্তকে ‘জীবনকৃতি’ সম্মানে সম্মানিত করে এবং এর সাথেই শেষ হয় উৎসবের প্রথমদিন।
নাট্যোৎসবের দ্বিতীয় দিনে ছিল কুশল বোসের নির্দেশনায় মান্নান হীরার নাটক, শিলিগুড়ি ঋত্বিকের ‘একজন লক্ষীন্দর’ এবং নৈহাটি যাত্রিকের ‘ফিরে আসা ঢেউ’। নাটক ও নির্দেশনায় সুনীত ভট্টাচার্য। এদিনের সাংবাদিক বরণ করা হয় গ্রুপ থিয়েটার পত্রিকার সম্পাদক দেবাশিস ব্যানার্জি এবং অশনি সংকেত পত্রিকার সম্পাদক কিশোর কুমার সাহাকে।
তৃতীয় দিন শুরু হয় ইছাপুর আলেয়ার শিশু-কিশোর বিভাগের নাটক ‘কানাইচাঁদ পালোয়ান’ দিয়ে। তারপর হয় অশোকনগর নাট্যমুখের প্রযোজনা, অভি চক্রবর্তীর লেখা ও নির্দেশনায় ‘কুহকিনী বীররাত্রি’। রাত্রি ন’টা বেজে পার হয়ে যাওয়া সত্ত্বেও দর্শকদের অনুমতিতে ও উৎসাহে মঞ্চস্থ হয় আলেয়ার যুববিভাগের প্রযোজনা রাজা ভট্টাচার্যের ‘বর্ণপরিচয়’। নির্দেশনায় আলেয়ার যুব বিভাগের সদস্য অনুভব মজুমদার। তৃতীয় দিন থিয়েটার মগজ পত্রিকার সম্পাদক রাজা দে-কে বরণ করা হয়।
চতুর্থ দিন ছিল ঋত্বিক বহরমপুরের পূর্ণাঙ্গ নাটক বিপ্লব দে-র নির্দেশনায় মোহিত চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের ‘তুষের আগুন’। এরপর আগরপাড়া থিয়েটার পয়েন্টের ‘সোনার হরিণ’। নাটক রাজা গুহ এবং নির্দেশনা রনি ভৌমিক। এদিন মূকাভিনয় পত্রিকার সম্পাদক রণেন চক্রবর্তীকে বরণ করে নেওয়া হয়।
উৎসবের শেষ দিন শুরু হয় আলেয়ার সমবেত গান দিয়ে। এদিনেও ছিল দুটি নাটক। প্রথমে থিয়েলাইটের ‘দুর্গা রহস্য’। নাটক ও নির্দেশনায় অতনু সরকার। তারপর ইউনিটি মালঞ্চ হালিসহরের বিখ্যাত প্রযোজনা গোপাল দাসের ‘হনুয়া কা বেটা’। নাটক শেষে ইউনিটি মালঞ্চের তরুণ অভিনেতা পার্থ দাসকে নবীন সম্মানে সম্মানিত করা হয়। সম্মানিত করেন আলেয়ার প্রবীণতম সদস্য নিতাই চন্দ্র গুপ্ত। এই অনুষ্ঠানের নাম রাখা হয় ‘নবীনে-প্রবীণে’। এরপর ইছাপুর আলেয়ার সম্পাদক সংগীতা চৌধুরী সংক্ষিপ্ত বক্তব্যের মাধ্যমে আলেয়ার পাঁচদিনব্যাপী নাট্যোৎসবের সমাপ্তি ঘোষণা করেন। সম্প্রতি কর্ণধার বিয়োগ ঘটার পরও ইছাপুর আলেয়া তাঁকে হৃদয়ে রেখে, তাঁর আর্দশেই এবং তাঁর দেখানো পথেই এগিয়ে চলেছে যার প্রমাণ এই সফল নাট্যোৎসব।
Indrajit Aich: The 22nd Natyotsava of Ichapur Alaya, Bharat Natya Rangoli 6- ‘Manne Shuvendu’ was held at Shyamnagar Rabindra Bhaban. Recently, Aleya has dedicated this entire theater festival to Shuvendu Majumdar after losing Karndha. And from the entrance of Rabindra Bhavan to the inner auditorium are decorated with pictures of their leaders. All this decoration was done by the youth department of Alaya. Even a front row seat is reserved for Subhendu Majumdar. Children and youth department of Alaya started the program with opening song. Then Asit Bose, a renowned personality of Bengali theater lit the lamp. Along with ‘Aleya Samman’ and ‘Aseem Samman’, Aleya started a new award this year, ‘Natyabandhu Shuvendu Samman’. In the first year, this award was given to Bhadra Bose, a notable actress of Bengali theatre. Apart from this, in the Aleya Honour, eminent director-actor Abhi Sengupta was honoured. And ‘endless respect’ is paid to the notable dramatist of the period, Mainak Sengupta. Ashish Goswami, Debashis Sarkar, Asit Bose and others were also present on the stage as informants. Aleya’s newly published book ‘Chap-Chhabi’ was inaugurated after the award ceremony. It is a collection of five plays by playwright Tirthankar Chand. Asit Bose inaugurated the book in the presence of the playwright. Alaire’s tabloid of the year was published at the same time. After the opening ceremony of the first phase, there was a sitar performance by Kishore Pratibha Bihan Alok. A common daily event at Alaya Natyotsav was the press reception. On the first day it was held after the sitar ceremony. The recipient of the day was Rudroop Mukhopadhyay from Natyamukhpatra and Sutpesh Chakraborty from Nayadunya. This was followed by the first play of the Natyotsav, a production by the Kishloy Department of Shyamnagar Natyabitan, Raja Bhattacharya’s play ‘Juta Ukshkar’ based on Rabindranath Tagore’s poem under the direction of Deepak Mitra. The bright presentation of a group of children and teenagers keeps the audience hooked. At the end of the play, Shyamnagar Natyabitan, senior member of Alaya honored Nitai Chandra Gupta with ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award and with that the first day of the festival ended.
On the second day of the drama festival there were plays by Mannan Heera directed by Kushal Bose, ‘Ekjon Lakshinder’ by Siliguri Rithik and ‘Returning Wave’ by Naihati Yatrik. Suneet Bhattacharya in drama and direction. Debashis Banerjee, editor of Group Theater magazine and Kishore Kumar Saha, editor of Ashani Sanket magazine, welcomed the journalists of the day.
The third day started with the drama ‘Kanaichand Palawan’ of Ichapur Alaya’s children and youth section. Then came ‘Kuhkini Birratri’ produced by Ashoknagar Natyamukh, written and directed by Abhi Chakraborty. Raja Bhattacharya’s ‘Varnaparichaya’ was staged with the permission and enthusiasm of the audience despite the fact that it was past nine o’clock in the night. Anubhav Majumdar, a member of the youth department of Alaya, under the guidance. On the third day Raja De, editor of Theater Magaz magazine was welcomed.
The fourth day was Mohit Chatterjee’s ‘Tusher Agun’ directed by Ritvik Baharampur’s full-length drama Biplab Dey. Then Agarpara Theater Point’s ‘Golden Deer’. Play by Raja Guha and directed by Roni Bhowmik. Ranen Chakraborty, editor of Mukavinaya magazine, was welcomed on this day.
The last day of the festival begins with the collective singing of Aliya. There were two plays on this day as well. First the ‘mystery of Durga’ by Thealites. Atanu Sarkar in drama and direction. Then Unity Malanch Halisahar’s famous production Gopal Das’s ‘Hanua Ka Beta’. At the end of the play, the young actor of Unity Malanch, Partha Das, was honored with Navin Samman. Honored by Nitai Chandra Gupta, the oldest member of Alaya. This program is named ‘Nabine-Pravine’. After that, Sangeeta Chowdhury, editor of Ichapur Alaya, announced the end of Alaya’s five-day theater festival through a short speech. Despite the recent passing away of Karndhar, Ichapur Aleya continues to keep him in its heart, following his instructions and the path shown by him, as evidenced by this successful theater festival.
