তমলুকঃ মঙ্গলবার বঙ্গীয় প্রাথমিক শিক্ষক সমিতির পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলা কমিটির উদ্যোগে জেলাশাসক এবং জেলা প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় সংসদের সভাপতির নিকট অবিলম্বে উন্নত মানের ২সেট করে পোশাক সরবরাহ সহ মিড ডে মিলের বরাদ্দা বৃদ্ধির দাবিতে বিক্ষোভ ও ডেপুটেশন সংগঠিত হয় । উল্লেখের বিষয়, ইতিপূর্বে পোশাকের জন্য বিদ্যালয়ের একাউন্টে টাকা আসতো । পরিচালন কমিটির সঙ্গে আলোচনার মাধ্যমে স্থানীয়ভাবে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের পোশাক দেওয়া হতো। কিন্তু চলতি ২০২২ শিক্ষাবর্ষে এই পদ্ধতির পরিবর্তন করে সরকার সরাসরি স্ব সহায়ক গোষ্ঠীর মাধ্যমে দেওয়ার নীতি চালু করেছে। আশা করা যাচ্ছিল অত্যন্ত দ্রুততার সাথে উন্নতমানের পোশাক পাওয়া যাবে। কিন্তু শিক্ষাবর্ষের ৯ মাস অতিক্রান্ত হয়ে গেল তা বাস্তবায়িত হলো না। যতটুকু পোশাক পাওয়া গেছে তা অত্যন্ত নিম্ন মানের ,মাপের সঙ্গেও সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ নয় । এর দ্বারা আর্থিক দুর্নীতি স্পষ্ট । অভিভাবকগণ বিক্ষোভ দেখাচ্ছেন। দায়ভার শিক্ষকদের উপরে পড়ছে। অন্যদিকে এপ্রিল, ২০২০ তে সর্বশেষ মিড ডে মিলের বরাদ্দা বৃদ্ধি হয়েছিল। তাও অত্যন্ত নগণ্য। এরপর আড়াই বছরে মূল্যবৃদ্ধি হচ্ছে লাফিয়ে লাফিয়ে। এমনকি গ্যাসের দামও আকাশছোঁয়া। এই পরিসরে মিড ডে মিলের বরাদ্দবৃদ্ধি না হওয়ায় বিদ্যালয়গুলি খুব সংকটে পড়েছে। পুজোর ক্ষেত্রে ক্লাবগুলিকে অর্থ বরাদ্দ করেছে সরকার । অথচ শিশুদের পুষ্টির জন্য অর্থ সংকটের অজুহাত দেখাচ্ছে। যা কখনো মেনে নেওয়া যায় না । সমিতির পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলা কমিটির সম্পাদক সৌমিত্র পট্টনায়ক বলেন “২০২২ শিক্ষাবর্ষের প্রায় শেষ হতে চলল এখনো ছাত্রছাত্রীরা ২সেট করে পোশাক পেল না। যতটুকু পাওয়া গেছে তা অত্যন্ত নিম্নমানের। একারণে শিক্ষকরা হয়রানির শিকার হচ্ছেন। একথা স্পষ্ট যে পোশাক সরবরাহের ক্ষেত্রে দুর্নীতি হয়েছে। অবিলম্বে গুণমানের ২সেট করে পোশাক সরবরাহের দাবি জানাচ্ছি।”
এই কর্মসূচিতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সমিতির রাজ্য সম্পাদক মন্ডলী সদস্য সতীশ সাউ । রাজ্য কমিটির সদস্য জেলা সভাপতি গোকুল মুড়া,নিমাই পটিদার, সৌমেন প্রধান, জেলা কার্যকরী কমিটির সদস্য সুজয় জানা,চন্দনা দাস,সুপ্রিয় পন্ডা,সিদ্ধার্থ রায়, মৌমিতা প্রামানিক সহ অন্যান্যরা।
Tamluk: At the initiative of the Purba Medinipur district committee of the Bengal Primary Teachers’ Association on Tuesday, a demonstration and deputation was organized to the District Magistrate and the President of the District Primary School Association, demanding an increase in the allocation of mid-day meal, including the supply of two sets of high-quality garments immediately. It is worth mentioning that earlier money used to come to the school account for clothes. Through discussions with the management committee, the students were given clothes locally. But in the current 2022 academic year, the government has introduced a policy of giving directly through self-help groups by changing this system. It was expected that high-quality clothes would be available very quickly. But 9 months of the academic year have passed, it has not been implemented. The amount of clothing found is of very low quality, not even compatible with the size. Financial corruption is evident from this. Parents are protesting. The onus falls on the teachers. On the other hand, the allocation for the last mid-day meal was increased in April, 2020. It’s also very insignificant. In the next two and a half years, the price rise has jumped. Even gas prices are skyrocketing. Schools are in dire straits as the allocation for mid-day meals has not increased in this range. The government has allocated money to the clubs for the puja. But for the nutrition of children, money is showing excuses for crisis. Which can never be accepted. Soumitra Patnaik, secretary of the Purba Medinipur district committee of the association, said, “The students have not yet got two sets of clothes as the 2022 academic year is nearing its end. What has been found is of very poor quality. That’s why teachers are being harassed. It is clear that there has been corruption in the supply of garments. We demand immediate supply of 2 sets of quality clothes. ”
Satish Sau, state secretary of the association, was present at the event. State committee members District President Gokul Mura, Nimai Patidar, Soumen Pradhan, District Executive Committee members Sujoy Jana, Chandana Das, Supriya Panda, Siddhartha Roy, Moumita Pramanik and others.
