মালদাঃ বিধান নগর সার্বজনীন দুর্গাপুজোর আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করা হল মহাষষ্ঠীর রাত্রে। ফিতে কেটে এবং সন্ধ্যা আরতির মাধ্যমে মন্ডপ এবং পুজোর আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করেন জেলা ব্যবসায়ী সমিতির নেতা তথা মালদা ম্যাংগো মার্চেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি উজ্জ্বল সাহা। জানা যায় এই পুজো শহরের বিগ বাজেটের পুজোর মতো না হলেও এই পূজোর সাথে কয়েক হাজার গ্রামবাসী মিলিত হয়ে আনন্দ উল্লাসে মেতে উঠেন।
Malda: Bidhan Nagar Sarvajanik Durga Puja was formally inaugurated on the night of Mahashashti. District Traders’ Association leader and Malda Mango Merchant Association President Ujjal Saha formally inaugurated the mandap and puja by cutting ribbons and evening aarti. It is known that this puja is not like the big budget puja of the city, but thousands of villagers gather with this puja and rejoice.
