করিমপুরঃ হোগোলবাড়িয়ার থানার অন্তর্গত, পোড়া ঘাঁটির মোড়ে ভয়াবহ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। জানাযায় একটি টাটা সুমো প্রচন্ড বেগে ধাক্কা মারে কয়েকজন যাত্রীকে । আহত তিনজন ব্যক্তিকে করিমপুর রুরাল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসা হয়। একজনের অবস্থা আশঙ্কাজনক হওয়ায় তাকে বহরমপুর হাসপাতালে রেফার করা হয় এবং শোনা যায় পরবর্তীতে তার মৃত্যু ঘটে। বাকি দুজনকে করিমপুর হাসপাতালে কর্তব্য চিকিৎসক মৃত বলে ঘোষণা করে। মৃতদের নাম প্রহ্লাদ ধাত্রী বয়স আনুমানিক ২২ বছর এবং বাড়ি হরেকৃষ্ণপুর। অপরজনের নাম পিকলু সরদার বয়স আনুমানিক ৩২ এবং বাড়ি পোড়া ঘাটি। মৃতদেহ দুটি করিমপুর থানার পুলিশ ময়না তদন্তের জন্য শক্তিনগর হাসপাতালে পাঠায়।
Karimpur: A horrific accident took place at the intersection of burnt base under Hogolbaria police station. It is known that a Tata Sumo hit some passengers at high speed. The three injured were taken to Karimpur Rural Hospital. One of them was referred to Berhampur Hospital as his condition was critical and it was heard that he later died. The other two were declared dead by duty doctors at Karimpur Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Prahlad Dhatri, 22, and his home in Harekrishnapur. The name of the other is Piklu Sardar, who is estimated to be 32 years old. Police of Karimpur police station sent the bodies to Shaktinagar Hospital for autopsy.
