গোপাল বিশ্বাস,নদীয়া-ঃ আজ শুভ বিজয়া, উমাকে ঘরে ফেরানোর পালা। সকাল থেকেই বিভিন্ন পুজো মন্ডপে সহ বনেদি বাড়ির পুজো, সকলেই মাকে বিদায় জানাবার জন্য ব্যাস্ত, মনখারাপের মধ্যেই। নবদ্বীপ শহরের ফাঁসি তলা গঙ্গার ঘাটে সকাল থেকেই বিসর্জন দিতে শুরু হয় বিভিন্ন বাড়ির প্রতিমা সহ বারোয়ারীর প্রতিমা। গঙ্গার গাটটি পূর্বেই নবদ্বীপ পৌরসভার তরফে বাঁধিয়েছে। গঙ্গা দূষণ রুখতে ও সকলকে সচেতনতা করতে পৌরসভার তরফে একটি ভ্যাটের গাড়ি রাখা হয়েছে পুজোর ফুল সহ বিভিন্ন সামগ্রী গঙ্গায় না ফেলার জন্য মাইকিংও করা হচ্ছে পৌরসভার তরফে। পাশাপাশি রাখ হয়েছে ক্রেন, কাঠামো সাথে সাথে তুলে অন্যত্র সরি ফেলার জন্য। প্রশাসনেরও নিরাপত্তার ব্যাবস্থা, চোখে পড়ার মতো। জলপথেও চলছে কড়া নজরদারি। বিসর্জন ঘাটে সকাল উপস্থিত থেকে ছিলেন নবদ্বীপ পৌরসভার পৌরপতি বিমান কৃষ্ণ সাহা, সেখানে উপস্থিত থেকে তিনি জানান প্রতিবছর পৌরসভার তরফে বিসর্জনকে নিয়ে এই ব্যাবস্থা করা হয়, যাতে নির্বিঘ্নে বিসর্জন হয়। পাশাপাশি তিনি আরও বলেন বিসর্জন দিতে রাত হয়ে যায়, তার জন্য পর্যাপ্ত আলোর ব্যাবস্থাও করা হয়েছে। বিসর্জনের ঘাটে উপস্থিত থেকে নবদ্বীপ বাসীকে বিজয়ার শুভেচ্ছাও জানান তিনি। সব মিলিয়ে প্রতি বছরের মতে এদিনও সুষ্ঠু ও নির্বিঘ্নে প্রতিমা বিসর্জনের জন্য নবদ্বীপ পৌরসভার তরফে একাধিক পদক্ষেপ নেওয়ায় খুশি সকলেই।
