বিধায়কের বিজয়ার প্রণাম।

গোপাল বিশ্বাস , নদীয়া-ঃ প্রতি বছরের ন্যায় এ বছরেও সমাজের সহায়-সম্বলহীন বৃদ্ধাদের প্রণাম করে মিষ্টি বস্ত্র সামান্য অর্থ দিয়ে মানবিক নজির স্থাপন করলেন রাজ্যের প্রাক্তন মন্ত্রী তথা নবদ্বীপের বিধায়ক পুন্ডরীকাক্ষ সাহা। চাকরি জীবন থেকে আজও পর্যন্ত এই বৃদ্ধাদের মাতৃরূপে আশীর্বাদ নিয়ে বছরের কাজ শুরু করেন তিনি। আজ সকালে নবদ্বীপের পোড়া ঘাট স্থিত রাধেশ্যাম সেবাশ্রম মন্দিরে প্রায় সাতশো জন মহিলাদের মিষ্টি বস্ত্র সামান্য অর্থ তুলে দেন বিধায়ক। বিধায়কের মানবিক এই উদ্যোগে স্বাভাবিকভাবেই খুশি সহায়-সম্বলহীন অসহায় বৃদ্ধারা সকল নগরবাসী। বিধায়ক ছাড়াও এই দিন উপস্থিত ছিলেন নবদ্বীপের বিডিও বরুণাশীস সরকার সহ নবদ্বীপ পৌরসভার পৌরপতি বিমান কৃষ্ণ সাহা , উপ পৌরপতি শচীন্দ্র বসাক সহ বিভিন্ন ওয়ার্ডের কাউন্সিলর, ও নবদ্বীপ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত আধিকারিক।

Like every year, this year too, former state minister and Nabadwip MLA Pundrikaksha Saha has set a humanitarian example by paying sweet clothes with a small amount of money by bowing down to the helpless elderly people of the society. From her career to the present day, she started the year’s work with the blessings of these elderly people as a mother. Earlier in the morning, the MLA handed over sweet clothes to around 700 women at the Radheshyam Sevashram temple at Pora Ghat in Nabadwip. All the city dwellers are naturally happy with this humanitarian initiative of the MLA. Apart from the MLA, Nabadwip BDO Varunashish Sarkar, Nabadwip Municipality Mayor Biman Krishna Saha, Deputy Municipal President Sachindra Basak, councilors of various wards, and officer-in-charge of Nabadwip police station were also present on the occasion.
