আমাদের শ্রদ্ধার্ঘঃ আজ ভোর চারটেয় প্রয়াত হলেন ভারতীয় মঞ্চ ও চলচ্চিত্র জগতের বরেণ্য অভিনেতা অরুণ বালী। মৃত্যুকালে তাঁর বয়স হয়েছিলো ৭৯ বছর। রেখে গেলেন স্ত্রী, এক পুত্র ও দুই কন্যা এবং তামাম ভারতবর্ষ জুড়ে অসংখ্য অনুরাগী। তিন দশকের অভিনয় জীবনে অজস্র চলচ্চিত্রে অত্যন্ত দক্ষতার সাথে অভিনয় করে দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করেছেন। পেয়েছেন দু-দুটি রাষ্ট্রীয় সম্মান।পাশাপাশি জাতীয় পুরস্কার প্রাপ্ত চিত্র প্রযোজকও ছিলেন। ‘থ্রি ইডিয়ট’ থেকে শুরু করে ‘লাল সিং চাড্ডা’র মতো চলচ্চিত্রে তাঁর জীবনের শ্রেষ্ঠ কাজ তিনি রেখে গেলেন। শেষ ছবি ছিলো অমিতাভ বচ্চনের সাথে ‘গুডবাই’ যা আজই রিলিজ হলো। ছিলেন নাট্য ও চলচ্চিত্রের বরেণ্য শিক্ষকও। তাঁর প্রয়াণে গভীর শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন নাসিরউদ্দিন শাহ, অমিতাভ বচ্চন, শাবানা আজমি, জাভেদ আখতার, শাহরুখ খান, আমির খান সহ মঞ্চ ও চলচ্চিত্রের অন্যান্য নক্ষত্রমন্ডলী। আমরা তাঁর আত্মার শান্তি কামনা করি। রইলো আমাদের বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা ও প্রণাম……
Arun Bali, a veteran actor of the Indian stage and film industry, passed away at 4:00 am today. He was 79 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters. In his acting career spanning over three decades, he has set an example by acting in numerous films with utmost skill. He received two state honors. From ‘3 Idiots’ to ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, he left behind the best work of his life. The last film was ‘Goodbye’ with Amitabh Bachchan which was released today. He was also a great teacher of drama and film. Naseeruddin Shah, Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and other constellations of the stage and film have expressed deep grief over his demise.
