ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ পুজোয় শারদ সন্মান সকলেই পায়। কেউ প্রতিমার জন্যে,কেউ মণ্ডপের জন্যে আবার কেউ আলোর জন্যে এছাড়া থিম, পরিবেশ, সেরার সেরা সন্মান তো আছেই। কিন্তু এই শারদ উৎসবে মানুষের পাশে থাকার জন্যে বা সারা বছর নানা ভালো কাজের জন্যে কেউ কি শারদ সন্মান পেতে পারেন না। এটাও তো একটা নতুন ভাবনা। আর এই ভাবনা থেকে পাড়ার সেরা ব্যাক্তিকে শারদ সন্মান দিতে শুরু করেছেন এই কলকাতার বিখ্যাত ডিজাইনার ইরানি মিত্র। গত বছর নিউ আলিপুর অ্যাসোসিয়েশন এর বাসিন্দা ও জনপ্রিয় অভিনেত্রী ইন্দ্রানী হালদার এই ইরানি মিত্র শারদ সন্মান পেয়েছিলেন। কারণ অভিনেত্রী ইন্দ্রানী হালদার শুধু অভিনয় করেন না, তিনি একজন প্রকৃত সমাজসেবী খুব পরিশ্রমী ও উদ্যোগী মানুষ। পাড়ার সকলের খোঁজ খবর রাখেন। বিপদে তাদের পাশে থাকেন। তাই তিনি এই সন্মান পেয়েছিলেন। এক সাক্ষাৎকারে এই কথা জানালেন ফ্যাশন ডিজাইনার ইরানি মিত্র।

এই বছর ২০২২ এ ইরানি মিত্র শারদ সন্মান তুলে দেন বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে চার জন কে। পাড়া হিসেবে এই সন্মান পেলেন বালিগঞ্জ কালচারালের পুজো সম্পাদক ও উডলান্ড হসপিটাল এর হার্ট এর ডাক্তার সপ্তর্ষি বসু, গল্ফগ্রীন ফেজ ৪ এর বাসিন্দা ও ঠাকুর পুকুর ক্যান্সার হসপিটাল এর ডাক্তার পার্থ হালদার। করোনার সময় এই দুজন ডাক্তার বহু মানুষের প্রাণ বাঁচিয়েছেন। পুজোর মধ্যেই এই সন্মান তাদের হাতে অর্পণ করেন ইরানি মিত্র। তাদের পাড়ার মানুষজন তাদের এই সন্মানে খুশি। আর যে দুজন এই সন্মান পেলেন তারা দুজনেই বাংলাদেশের মানুষ। একজন হলেন ওপার বাংলার বিখ্যাত ফটোগ্রাফার রুপম চৌধুরী ও অন্য জন হলেন বাংলাদেশ এর জনপ্রিয় অভিনেত্রী অপু বিশ্বাস। রুপম ঢাকার বাসিন্দা। তিনি নানা সমাজ সেবায় যুক্ত। তাকে তার পাড়ার মানুষ তার কাজ ও তার ব্যবহারে খুশি। তেমন ঢাকার বসুন্ধরাতে থাকেন অপু বিশ্বাস। তিনি ও এই সন্মান পেয়েছেন অভিনয়ের পাশাপাশি মানুষের পাশে থাকার সুবাদে। যে দুজন ডাক্তার এই সন্মান পেয়েছেন তাঁরা ও তাদের পাড়ায় খুব জনপ্রিয়, যে কোনো কারোর বিপদে আপদে সেই পরিবারের পাশে থাকেন সবসময়।

He is involved in various social services. The people of his neighborhood are happy with his work and his behavior. Apu Biswas lives in Bashundhara, Dhaka. He has also received this honor for acting as well as being by the side of the people. The two doctors who have received this honor are also very popular in their neighborhood, always by the side of that family in the face of anyone’s danger.
ইরানি মিত্র সব সময় তার ভাবনা চিন্তা একটু অন্য রকম। তিনি বলেন এরকম যে ব্যাক্তি পাড়ায় থাকেন তাতে পাড়ার মানুষের গর্ব হয়। এই পুজোয় কত স্পন্সর রা বিভিন্ন পুজোকে কত পুরস্কার দেয়। কিন্তু সমাজের যারা প্রকৃত কাজ করছেন বা মানুষের উপকার করছেন তাদের কথা এরা ভাবেন না,তাই আমি একা নিজের উদ্যোগে এনাদের কথা ভেবেছি, পাড়ার মেয়ে বা পাড়ার ছেলে বা পাড়ার মানুষ এবং তাদের কাজের জন্যে এই পুরস্কার দিচ্ছি কোনো স্পন্সর ছাড়াই সম্পূর্ন নিজের উদ্যোগে। এই ভিন্ন চিন্তা থেকে এই সন্মান দেওয়া। আমি এই চারজনকে এই সন্মান দিয়ে সন্মানিত হলাম। আমার সাথে কলকাতা থেকে যে পাঁচ জন জুড়ি ছিলেন তারা হলেন জয়শ্রী মজুমদার, পুষ্পিতা মালাকার, কৃষ্ণা লাখমনি, মনিকা মন্ডল এবং রেহান কবির। বাংলাদেশের যে দুজন সন্মানিত হয়েছেন তাদের দুই জুড়ি প্রতিনিধি মেক আপ আটিস্ট শামীম আক্তার কুসুম ও সাবিনা ইয়াসমিন সুমা কলকাতায় এসে ফ্যাশন ডিজাইনার ইরানি মিত্রর হাত থেকে বাংলাদেশের ওই দুই শিল্পীর সন্মান গ্রহণ করেন। তারা এই সন্মান বাংলাদেষের দুই শিল্পীকে দিয়ে এসেছেন। সবমিলিয়ে এই রকম একটা চমকপ্রদ উদ্যোগ নেবার জন্য ফ্যাশন ডিজাইনার ইরানি মিত্রকে সাধুবাদ জানাতেই হয় ।

Make-up activists Shamim Akhter Kusum and Sabina Yasmin Suma came to Kolkata and received the award from fashion designer Irani Mitra. They have given this honor to two artists of Bangladesh.
