কেন্দ্রের ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি শিল্প মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনে থাকা খাদি এন্ড ভিলেজ ইন্ডাস্ট্রীস কমিশনের উদ্যোগে এবং গ্রামোদ্যোগ বিকাশ যোজনার মাধ্যমে কুমোরদের হাতে ইলেকট্রিক্যাল হুইল মেশিন তুলে দেন ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘের প্রধান সম্পাদক স্বামী বিশ্বাত্মানন্দ মহারাজ। তিনি বলেন, কুমোরদের হাতে এই মেশিন তুলে দেওয়ার পাশাপাশি কিভাবে এই মেশিন ব্যবহার করে দ্রুত চায়ের কাপ থেকে মাটির ভাঁড় বা অন্যান্য জিনিস উৎপাদন বাড়ানো যায় সে ব্যাপারেও কুমোরদের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থাও করা হয়েছে।
