মালদা-ছিনতাইয়ের কবলে মা ও মেয়ে। ছিনতাই করতে এসে মা ও মেয়ের চারটি কান থেকে সোনার অলংকার ছিনিয়ে নিয়ে গেল দুষ্কৃতীরা। সঙ্গে কেটে নিয়ে গেল মেয়ের ডানকান। চাঞ্চল্যকর ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মালদা জেলার মানিকচক থানার গোপালপুর এলাকায়। আশঙ্কা জনক অবস্থায় মা ও মেয়ে চিকিৎসাধীন মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে। বর্তমানে মা ও মেয়ের অবস্থা আশঙ্কাজনক। আহতরা হলেন মা নূরেসা বেওয়া। বয়স (৬২) বছর এবং মেয়ে রুলেখা বিবি বয়স (৪৫) বছর। স্থানীয় ও পরিবার সূত্রে জানা যায় অন্যান্য দিনের মতো গতকাল রাতে মা ও মেয়ে খাওয়া-দাওয়া করে একটাই ঘরে ঘুমাচ্ছিলেন। হঠাৎ গভীর রাতে কয়েকজন দুষ্কৃতি তাদের ঘরে ঢোকে মা ও মেয়েকে প্রথমে বেধড়ক মারধর করে। তারপরে দুইজনের দুই কান থেকে সোনার অলংকার ছিনিয়ে নেয় দুষ্কৃতী। বাধা দিতে গেলেই মেয়ের রুলেখার ডান কান পুরোপুরি ধারালো অস্ত্র দিয়ে কেটে নেয় দুষ্কৃতীরা। পাশের ঘরে ঘুমাচ্ছিলেন ছেলে তাসর উদ্দিন তার ঘরের দরজা বাইরে থেকে দুষ্কৃতীরা আটকে যায় বলে অভিযোগ। এরপর মা ও মেয়ের চিৎকারে স্থানীয়রা ছুটে আসে। তার আগে দুষ্কৃতীরা সেইখান থেকে পালিয়ে যায় বলে অভিযোগ। তড়িঘড়ি দুইজনকেই চিকিৎসার জন্য প্রথমে স্থানীয় স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রে নিয়ে যায়। সেখান থেকে মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করে। বর্তমানে মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় রয়েছেন মা ও মেয়ে। এই ঘটনায় মানিকচক থানায় লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়। ঘটনা তদন্ত শুরু করেছে মানিকচক থানার পুলিশ।
