করিমপুরঃ নদীয়া জেলার করিমপুর থানার অন্তর্গত থানার মোড়ে আবার একটি দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে গেল। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীর মতামত অনুযায়ী জানা যায় যে ৮৫ বছরের এক বৃদ্ধ সাইকেল করে যাচ্ছিলেন এমন সময় একটি লরি উক্ত ব্যক্তিকে ধাক্কা মারে । উক্ত লরিটি ওই ব্যক্তির মাথার উপর দিয়ে চলে যায়। এরপর করিমপুর থানার পুলিশের তৎপরতায় এবং সহযোগিতায় উক্ত ব্যক্তিকে করিমপুরাল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে গেলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত বলে ঘোষণা করে। মৃত ব্যক্তির নাম মুরারি দেবনাথ। মৃতের বাড়ি তেহট্ট থানার অন্তর্গত বালি ওরা অঞ্চলের ভিটার পাড়া গ্রামে। ঘাতক লরিটিকে করিমপুর থানার পুলিশ আটক করে এবং মৃতদেহটি ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য শক্তিনগরে পাঠানোর ব্যবস্থা করে। 
Karimpur: Another accident took place at the intersection of Karimpur police station under Karimpur police station in Nadia district. According to eyewitnesses, an 85-year-old man was riding a bicycle when a lorry hit the man. The lorry passed over the man’s head. Later, with the help and cooperation of Karimpur Police Station, the man was taken to KarimpurAl Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. The deceased has been identified as Murari Debnath. The deceased’s house is in Vitar para village of Bali Ora area under Tehatta police station. The killer lorry was detained by karimpur police station and the body was sent to Shaktinagar for autopsy.
