মালদা: তালা ভেঙে পীর মাজারে দুঃসাহসিক চুরি। সোমবার গভীর রাত্রে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে, ইংলিশ বাজার থানার বাগবাড়ি খোয়ার মোড় এলাকায়। মঙ্গলবার সকালে বিষয়টি জানাজানি হতেই এলাকা জুড়ে ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। উল্লেখ্য ওই এলাকায় বহু প্রাচীন একটি পীর মাজার রয়েছে। গভীর রাত্রে কে বা কারা মাজারের তালা ভেঙে দান বক্সে থাকা প্রায় ৪০ হাজার টাকা নিয়ে চম্পট দেয়। মঙ্গলবার সকালে বিষয়টি জানাজানি হতেই এক প্রস্থ চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা জানান, পাশের বাড়িতে থাকা সিসিটিভি ক্যামেরায় ধরা পড়েছে ঘটনা। এক যুবক মুখে চাদর বেঁধে তালা ভেঙে মাজারের ভেতরে ঢুকে। এরপর দানবক্সের তালা ভেঙ্গে প্রায় ৪০ হাজার টাকা নিয়ে চম্পট দেয়। এই ঘটনায় ইংলিশ বাজার থানায় একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়েছে বলে জানা গেছে।
