মালদা: রেশ ওয়াকিং প্রতিযোগিতায় আবারো সাফল্য পশ্চিমবঙ্গের। দ্বিতীয় হলেন মালদার আইহোর মেয়ে সপ্তমী সিংহ। বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে মালদা এয়ারপোর্ট ময়দানে তাকে সংবর্ধনা জানানো হয়। সংবর্ধনা জানান তার কোচ অমিতাভ রায় সহ তার সহকর্মীরা। উল্লেখ্য চলতি মাসের ১১ ই নভেম্বর থেকে ১৫ ই নভেম্বর পর্যন্ত আসামের গুহাটিতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ৩৭ তম ন্যাশনাল জুনিয়র অ্যাথলেটিক্স চ্যাম্পিয়ন। ভারতের ২৯ টি রাজ্যের প্রতিযোগিরা অংশ নেয়। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ থেকে ৪২ জনের মধ্যে মালদা থেকে অংশ নেই দুজন। জানা যায় ৩ কিলোমিটার রেস ওয়াকিং এ অংশ নিয়ে জাতীয় স্তরে দ্বিতীয় স্থান অধিকার করে মালদার সপ্তমী সিংহ। তার এই সাফল্যে গর্বিত গোটা রাজ্য বলে জানান তার কোচ অমিতাভ রায়।
