ট্রায়াল রানে বন্দে ভারত

মালদা-দেশের দ্রুতগতির ট্রেন বন্ধে ভারতের ‘ট্রায়াল রান’ চলছে আজ। মালদহ পর্যন্ত পরীক্ষামূলক এই ট্রেন চলাচল ‘সফল’ বলে রেল সুত্রে খবর। নির্ধারিত সময়ের বেশকয়েক মিনিট আগে আজ সকাল ১০:৩২ মিনিটে মালদহ টাউন স্টেশনে এসে পৌঁছয় হাওড়া থেকে নিউজলপাইগুড়িগামী বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেস। সকাল থেকে ঘন কুয়াশাকে ভেদ করে এগোয় এই ট্রেন। তবে ট্রায়াল রান হওয়ায় এদিন ট্রেনে কোনও যাত্রী ছিলেন না। ট্রেনে সওয়ার হন রেলের পদস্থ বেশ কয়েকজন আধিকারিক। যাত্রী ওঠানামার বিষয় না থাকায়, ট্রেনের কোনও কোচ অবশ্য মালদহে খোলা হয়নি মালদা টাউন স্টেশনে। ঘন্টায় ১২০ কিলোমিটার গতি বেগে মালদহের ওপর দিয়ে বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেস ছুটবে বলে জানা গিয়েছে। ৩০ শে ডিসেম্বর এই ট্রেনের আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি।

India’s ‘trial run’ to stop the high-speed train of Malda-Desh is going on today. According to railway sources, the trial run of this train up to Malda is ‘successful’. The Vande Bharat Express from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri reached Malda Town station at 10:32 am, several minutes before the scheduled time. The train has been passing through dense fog since morning. However, there were no passengers on the train due to the trial run. Several senior railway officials boarded the train. However, no coach of the train was opened at Malda Town station as there was no issue of passenger movement. Vande Bharat Express will run over Malda at a speed of 120 km per hour. The train will be formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30.
