মালদা : আধুনিক জীবনে ছোট ছোট নিউক্লিয় পরিবারে বাচ্চারা বড় বেশি একাকিত্বে ভুগছে । এরপর আছে পড়ার চাপ। এইসব টানাপোড়েনে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের প্রাণ ওষ্ঠাগত । প্রবল চাপে অনেক বাচ্চা অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়ে । এই সব সমস্যা থেকে মুক্তি দিতে পারে খেলাধূলা । খেলাধূলাই পারে মনের সব ক্লান্তি দূর করে দিতে। এই বার্তাকে সামনে রেখে মালদহের হোয়াইট ইলেভেন ক্লাব তাদের ক্রিকেট টুর্নামেন্টের ফাইনাল খেলার দিন রবিবার সকালে এলাকার সমস্ত ক্লাব, ক্রিকেট ও অ্যাটলেটিকস কোচিং সেন্টার ও স্কুলের কচিকাঁচাদের নিয়ে আয়োজন করলো পদযাত্রা ‘খেলার জন্য হাটুন’। স্থানীয় ভবানী মোড় থেকে এই পদযাত্রা শুরু হয়েছিল। ঝলঝলিয়া স্টেশন রোড হয়ে এই পদযাত্রা শেষ হয় স্থানীয় রেলওয়ে খেলার মাঠে। এই পদযাত্রাকে কেন্দ্র করে কচিকাঁচাদের কলরবে মুখরিত হয়ে ওঠে রাজপথ। এই এ বিষয়ে হোয়াইট ইলেভেন ক্লাবের পক্ষে টুর্নামেন্ট কমিটির যুগ্ম আহ্বায়ক কাউন্সিলর দুলাল সরকার ও গৌতম দাস বলেন, শিশুদের সামাজিক ব্যাধির শিকার হতে না দিয়ে তাদেরকে আরও বেশি করে মাঠমুখী করে তোলার লক্ষে হোয়াইট ইলেভেন ক্লাব প্রদীপ কর মেমোরিয়াল ক্রিকেট টুর্নামেন্টের ফাইনাল খেলা উপলক্ষে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদেরকে নিয়ে ‘খেলার জন্য হাটুন’ পদযাত্রার আয়োজন করেছে। এই এলাকার বিভিন্ন ওয়ার্ডের ক্লাব গনসংগঠন এবং কোচিং সেন্টারের খেলোয়াড়দের এই পদযাত্রায় শামিল করা হয়েছে। এই পদযাত্রাকে কেন্দ্র করে ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ও খুদে খেলোয়াড়দের মধ্যে উৎসাহ ছিল চোখে পড়ার মতো।

Many children fall ill due to heavy pressure. Sports can get rid of all these problems. Sports can remove all the tiredness of the mind. With this message in mind, the White XI Club of Malda organized a march on Sunday morning with all the clubs, cricket and athletics coaching centers and school children of the area on the day of the final match of their cricket tournament. The march started from the local Bhavani intersection. The march ended at the local railway playground via Jhaljhalia Station Road. The highway became the face of the kachikachas around this march. On behalf of the White Eleven Club, the joint conveners of the tournament committee, Councilor Dulal Sarker and Gautam Das, said that the White Eleven Club has organized a ‘Hatoon to Play’ march with the students on the occasion of the final match of the Pradeep Kar Memorial Cricket Tournament in order to make the children more and more field-oriented by not letting them fall prey to social disorders. Players from clubs, mass organizations and coaching centers of different wards of the area have been included in this march. There was enthusiasm among the students and the players around this march.
