হলদিয়া: গুজরাট রাজ্যের দাহদ এলাকার বাসিন্দা বাবর ধনি বেহেন নামে এক গৃহবধূ ৬ বছর আগে নিখোঁজ হয়ে যায়৷ পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে স্থানীয় থানায় অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়েছিলো৷ দীর্ঘ ৬ বছর পর পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলার নন্দীগ্রাম থানার পুলিশের চেস্টায় পরিবারের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয়। পরিবারের লোকজনদের কাছে পেয়ে বেজায় খুশি বাবর ধনি বেহেন। জানা গিয়েছে, ২০২২ সালে সেপ্টেম্বর মাসে নন্দীগ্রাম থানার তারাচাঁদবাড় এলাকায় মহিলাটি ইতস্তত ভাবে ঘোরাফেরা করছিলো। আমরা উদ্ধার করে কাউন্সিলিং এর জন্য হলদিয়ার বাসুদেবপুরে স্নেহ নীড়ে রাখা হয়। সেখানে রেখে তার সেবাশুশ্রূষা করা হয়। ধিরে ধিরে সুস্থ হয়ে ওঠে। হোমের কর্তৃপক্ষরা একাধিকবার তার ঠিকানা জানার চেস্টা করে। বাড়ির ঠিকানা জানতে পেরে হোম কর্তৃপক্ষ নন্দীগ্রাম থানায় খবর দেয়। নন্দীগ্রাম থানার পুলিশ গুজরাট রাজ্যের দাহদ জেলার পুলিশের সাথে যোগাযোগ করে। অবশেষে বুধবার হোম কর্তৃপক্ষ, নন্দীগ্রাম থানার পুলিশের উপস্থিতিতে পরিবারের হাতে তুলে দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়। সরকারি নিয়ম মেনেই পরিবারের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয়। প্রায় ৬ মাস ধরে বাসুদেবপুর হোমে অন্যান্য আবাসিকদের সাথে থেকে ভালোবাসার মজে গিয়েছিলো। হোমার অন্যান্যরাও তাকে কাছে পেয়ে বেজায় খুশিতে ছিলো। বাড়ি ফিরে যাওয়ার খবর শুনে তাদের চোখেও জল চলে আসে। চোখে জল এলেও তারাও মন থেকে খুশি। নন্দীগ্রাম থানার আইসি সুমন চৌধুরি জানান, আমরা গৃহবধূকে তার পরিবারের হাতে তুলে দিতে পেরে খুব ভালো লাগছে। হোমের কাউন্সিলিংয়ের দায়িত্বে থাকা পুজা সাহু জানান, নন্দীগ্রাম থানার পুলিশ এক ভবঘুরে গৃহবধূকে আমাদের হোমে পাঠায় ৷ আমরা কাউন্সিলিং করে তার বাড়ির ঠিকানা জানতে পারি৷ নন্দীগ্রাম থানা ও জেলা পুলিশ ঠিকানা কনফার্ম করেন। তার পর সরকারি গাইডলাইন মেনে পরিবারের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয়।
