ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ একজন প্রকৃত মানব দরদী মানব প্রেমীক মানুষ ছিলেন ঝগড়ু বাবা। ভালোবাসার বন্ধনে মানুষকে নিজের করে নিতেন। সম্পুর্ন প্রচার বিমুখ এই মানুষটির স্মৃতিতে দক্ষিন কলকাতায় গড়ে ওঠে ঝগড়ুবাবা ফাউন্ডেশন টালিগঞ্জ দরবার সোসাইটি । এই সংস্থার উদ্যোগেই অনুষ্ঠিত হল বসে আঁকা প্রতিযোগিতা। পাঁচ থেকে ২৪ বছর বয়সি প্রায় শ দেড়েক ছেলেমেয়ে চারটি বিভাগে এই প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নেন। সংস্থার কর্ণধার প্রসুন চাটার্জী বলেন, একজন মহান মুসলিম ফকির ছিলেন ঝগড়ু বাবা। তার দরবারে সকলের অবাধ আনাগোনা ছিল। মানব দরদী ঝগড়ু বাবা মানুষের সেবার যে আদর্শ দেখিয়ে দিয়ে গেছেন সেই আদর্শকেই বয়ে নিয়ে চলেছেন তারা। এলাকার ছোট ছোট ছেলে মেয়েদের শিক্ষিত করে গড়ে তোলার পাশাপাশি রক্তদান শিবির, স্বাস্থ্য শিবির, যোগাসন সহ নানা সামাজিক কাজে তারা এগিয়ে এসেছেন।
Indrajit Aich: Jhagadu Baba was a truly human-loving human being. He used to make people his own in the bond of love. The Jhagdubaba Foundation Tollygunge Darbar Society was established in south Kolkata in memory of this man who was completely out of publicity. At the initiative of this organization, a drawing competition was held. About 150 children aged between five and 24 took part in the competition in four categories. Prasoon Chatterjee, the founder of the organization, said, “Jhagadu Baba was a great Muslim fakir. In his court, everyone had a free movement. They are carrying on the ideals shown by the father of the human being to serve the people. In addition to educating the small boys and girls of the area, they have come forward for various social activities including blood donation camps, health camps, yoga asanas.
