মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়াঃ উত্তর দিনাজপুরঃ জানা যায় খেলাধুলা ছাড়া পড়াশোনা অসম্পূর্ণ। খেলাধুলার মাধ্যমে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের মেধা তুলে ধরা হয়। খেলাধুলা শিক্ষার একটা অংশ তাই বাৎসরিক ক্রিয়া প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন করা হয়। এদিন ১০০ মিটার রান, ২০০ মিটার রান, সহ লংজাম, হাই জাম, মিউজিকাল চেয়ার, সহ অন্যান্য আকর্ষণীয় খেলার আয়োজন করা হয়। এবং একই দিনে পুরস্কার বিতরণও করা হয়। স্কুলের প্রধান শিক্ষক সুদীপ কুমার মজুমদার বলেন প্রতিবছরের ন্যায় এ বছরও বাৎসরিক ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এটা স্কুলের একটা কারি কলম এর মধ্যে পড়ে। স্কুলের সভাপতি সেলিম আনজার জানান পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি খেলাধুলাও জরুরী। খেলাধুলার মাধ্যমে শরীর চর্চা হয়। এর মাধ্যমে অনেক দূর এগিয়ে যাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। এদিন বিশেষভাবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন করণদিঘী বিধানসভার বিধায়ক গৌতম পাল। করণদিঘী পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির সভাপতি মোহাম্মদ কামরুজ্জামান। স্কুলের প্রধান শিক্ষক সুদীপ কুমার মজুমদার, স্কুলের সভাপতি সেলিম আনজার।
